People who think this story is weird, take it from someone who knows, you have no idea what people are willing to do to hold a high social status. If you didn't experience it, you have no idea. Especially women. Murder? That's way more probable than it might seem.
I had a high status and well, it got into question. I myself tried to cut a few corners to keep it, but nothing bad really. But some other people I know? Believe me, lying, cheating, backstabbing, manipulating, distorting the truth, gaslighting, blackmailing, just whatever. And yes, even close family and no, there are almost no lows people wouldn't stoop to to keep their status. And then if they get their way, of course, then they act all generous, moral, fight against cruelty on animals, donate to charity. But risk losing being rich? Yeah, even stab someone in the neck, throw them in jail, kick them on the street, kill them. Just whatever so they can keep being rich and pretending they're virtuous and beautiful human beings. Those who understand this last sentence know how people truly are believe me.
Never, for a single second, believe anyone rich and well off wouldn't throw you under the bus and worse to retain their status. 99% of them will and especially, ESPECIALLY those who act the most nice and most moral.
If you are not from wealth and you idolize rich people and millionaires, stop, there's nothing to idolize there.

Boredom, insomnia and six goes at trudging through to the end, how sad that people that brought us Alien and Scarface were involved with this. Terrible waning accents, terrible amateur hour overacting and Letos efforts were worthy of any Monty Python skit or movie. Just has to be one of the worst movies ever made and gagar should stick to singing.

I saw this movie recently and i loved Gaga's interpretation and in general is such an interesting story. But i have to say can't with the italian accent, can't they just learn to speak italian or hire actors that speak italian? This really took the realism.
