1. Doctor Dillamond is not a human turned into a goat, he's a Goat! Remember, animals talk in Oz. And in Wicked, talking animals are capitalized.
2. As much as I'd love to see Ali Stroker as Nessa, there is one huge issue: Nessa has a scene where the magic shoes cause her to walk! It can be done with movie magic, I'm sure, but then that gets into the issue of disabled representation, which is one big kettle of fish.
3. Well now I have a new favorite choice for Madame Morrible! This would be Queen Latifah's third Oz production, after playing Aunt Em in The Muppets' Wizard of Oz and the Wiz in The Wiz Live.
4. If anyone from the original cast should reprise their role, it's Joel Grey. But Wicked was not the first time he played the Wizard! He also played him in The Wizard of Oz in Concert, a charity special back in the '90s.
5. Yes, get Idina and Kristin in there somehow. (As good as I think Kristin Chenoweth would be as Madame Morrible, I'd rather see Idina Menzel play her)

Im not gonna lie not loving Ali Stroker for the role of Nessarose. First of all, a major part of Nessa is that she later walks. But moreover, I love Ali on Broadway but I wasnt satisfied with her recent performance in a Christmas film that has me a little concerned that she acts for the back of the house (super useful in theater, but painfully awkward on film. Even more than that Nessa is Elphabas little sister, and theyve cast Cynthia Erivo. Green skin aside, there should at least be some resemblance between the two and casting a white actress to play as the little sister of a black actress feels wrong to me, no matter how much green you slather on the black sister. The ONLY thing they could do in that instance would be to have white parents and a black Wizard, but even then

Jordan Fisher would be nice to see in the movie but I dont think it will happen because of his busy schedule. He currently is Evan in Dear Evan Hansen on broadway and thats a very emotionally and mentally draining part doing that 8 times a week for 4-6 months so he may want a small break afterwards. He also has an active contract with the Flash tv show which was supposed to be a recurring part but isnt because of his broadway schedule and fans of that are angry, he has active contracts with Star Wars Visions, High School Musical the Musical the Series and a movie with Dove Cameron that has to film which probably wont be for a little bit because of her busy schedule. I mean unless he wants to be released from any of his active contracts or if he can find time in between filming and performances to be in it then hell yeah cast him in the movie.

Also, totally disagree about Dillamond being a bigger part. I actually think they'll cut Something Bad from the film, so that actor won't have any songs. Just a guess, but it's a weak song. They tend to cut those (see: To Break in a Glove) from movies.
Also, Darren Criss is my personal pick for Fiyero. I think Jordan looks too young. Even though he's in his late 20s, he's currently playing a 17 year old on Broadway. Whoever plays Fiyero has to look the same age as Cynthia and Ariana.

I actually wanted a glee reunion in this movie. Amber nailed Defying Gravity in the Wicked concert. What would be better payback than to have Lea as her second hand woman, Glinda. I liked the idea of Kurt as Boq. Wish I had seen him play it. Liked your choice of Ali as Nessa and she was also in glee.
I got to tell you, after hearing jennifer Nettles performance in the concert. I can picture her as Ms. Morrible or someone else.

I am exited for the Wicked movie's. Some of these should happen like Queen Latifa as Madam Morible. For the list of the cast now, they shouldn't have gone with Jonathan Bailey as Fiyaro because Fiyaro is canonically a person of color. Jordan Fisher would have been a great Fiyaro. I am going to be assume they didn't know that and if they did they wouldn't have cast a white person as Fiyaro and Jonathan Bailey wouldn't have auditioned for the role if they new.

Actually wicked was not the first time Joel gray played the wizard. In the nineties, there was a celebrity musical production of the wizard of oz, where he played both the sham fortune teller and the wizard. This was the same production where jewel played Dorothy, Nathan lane was the cowardly lion, Roger Daltrey was was the Tin man, among others.

Not a bad list. Id like to see Rita Moreno as Madame Morrible. I dont see Jordan as Fiyero. Hes too young and whimpy to play such a big role. I just hope they cast singers and not just actors in these roles. These musical adaptations tend to cast actors pretending to be singers

I agree with all the choices except Joel Grey. At 90, to be Elphaba's biological dad would mean he seduce her mother in his late sixties and used a green drink to do it. Too creepy. My pick is Peter Dinklage. He is in his 40's and can sing. I really want Ali Stroker too.

Hopefully they will give Fiyero his diamond patterned skin in the movie, like he's suppose to have in the book. I understand that it would be hard to see in a broadway production, but in a movie, there is no way they can miss that detail.

Nessa needs to be played by an ambulatory wheelchair user. Not sure if Ali Stroker is an ambulatory wheelchair user or not. If she is then I think she might be a great choice for the role.

Once I found out the Wicked movie casting, I said They better get Joel Grey back. I personally am not a fan of Ariana Grande as G(a)linda. For Fiyero I think Darren Criss.
