Good luck trying to sing these movie songs. For this list, well be looking at iconic big screen tunes that are no easy feat to perform, especially without a lot of practice. Our countdown includes Over the Rainbow, Memory, Skyfall, and more! What's the hardest song YOU can sing?

I can sing a million dreams(the greatest showman) well, however, the hardest song to sing generally is Fit Right In from My Little Pony: A new Generation. I sing both in the shower, but Izzy(Kimiko Glenn) has a high voice, Sunny Starscout(Vanessa Hudgens, well, she hits a lot of high notes in all her songs(HSM is evidence) and James Marsden(who voices Hitch Trailblazer) is a baritone(See enchanted)
I think also Never Enough(The Greatest Showman) is a hard song to sing(a lot of revertants, and We don't talk about Bruno(Encanto) is hard to sing- there's a lot of characters! Camilo is low and Pepa is high. And they all sing together at the end, like 20 different voices! And speechless(Aladdin 2019)- Naomi Scott hits a lot of high notes. And all the ending songs in each of the Descendants movies. Oh, and Bright. Julie and the Phantoms. I swear Madison Reyes goes high a lot.

THOSE songs are difficult; these songs are HARD
1. I Hate Men and In My Fashion from 'Kiss Me, Kate'
2. If I Loved You from 'Carousel'
3. 'Going Courtin' from 'Seven Brides For Seven Brothers
4. A Heart That's Free from 'Two Weeks With Love'
5. Getting To Know You from 'The King & I'
6. Three Little Words from 'Three Little Words'
7. Maybe This Time from 'Cabaret'
8. I Can't Say No from 'Oklahoma'
9. On The Street Where You Live from 'My Fair Lady'
10. It Might As Well Be Spring from 'State Fair'
11. Waiting For My Dearie from 'Brigadoon'
Prove me wrong.

Over the rainbow should not have been on this list. Im surprised there was nothing from animated movies because I could name a few that are way harder than some listed here. For example: Seasons of love- Rent and almost every song in Les Miserables. Also, Never Enough from the Greatest Showman is way more difficult. but I love all of those songs so Im glad at least one made the list.
reply

Dont forget that I will always love you is a song written and sang in 70s by Dolly Parton. Here wit Huston she just makes it insane popular wit different arangation and powerful voice, so i wouldynt put this on nr one. One more thing Cats movie wasnt andisnt abomination, its a good movie if you know something about musicales and perticular story of this musical.

Ive been singing since I was four and Ive never had training vocally! I can sing 98% of these songs without thinking even when I was younger! Im 21 now. This is bull. If your talented your talented Im not saying not expanding your voice with lessons is bad in fact I encourage it but gosh this video is judgmental!

I can testify to the difficulty of Phantom of the Opera. Christine is one of my dream roles and as a soprano with a wide range Im in a pretty ideal spot for her lyrically. It still took 5 years of voice lessons (and a month of focusing specifically on her songs) for me to safely and comfortably hit that high E.

I get SOME songs ARE HARD to sing for and to some people but A Million Dreams. Is not one of them. I mean. sure it will be hard to sing for some but otherwise
It's not hard to sing AT ALL i sung it and yeah at first I couldn't really sing in synch with it but I practiced alot and it was worth it.

reply

If there can be miracles isn't on this list its wrong. The song is a duet between Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston killing it. One person can't sing it alone. Nobody has that range. Edit: or Victor/Victoria the Deville one. It's been so long but it's only something very few could pull off.

0: 38 =When I can still sing high & strong, it was The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked's Defying Gravity & Never Enough. Now it's just Carole & Tuesday's La Ballade, Sondheim's Everyday A Little Death & A Monster In Paris' La Seine et Moi. Still at 21 but I broke my voice at around 18-20.

I wished you could add A million miles away from the anime film Belle: Ryu tu sobakasu no hime/Belle: The Dragon and The Freckled Princess. Kaho Nakura sang the original track for the movie, Kylie McNeill did justice to the English dub of the song track especially A million miles away

no: 1 Whitney Houston. I attempted this song at a karaoke night on board a cruise. I failed. my friend said to me don't worry, even Whitney couldn't sing Whitney in the end. I can sing (or use to in my youth) and I've pretty much attempted nearly all these. THEY. ARE. HARD.
reply

Well actually yes, I CAN sing I Will Always Love You, but I sing and I practiced it a lot. And yes, they love it when I do it for karaoke, lol!
The one that's hard for me is And I'm Telling You. The melody moves in such a way that it's very difficult to sing properly.

My heart will go on is a song I've sung and heard many times that I get physically nauseous by listening to it but then again my little brother loves that movie and will watch it over and over again 15 more times without getting tired of it
reply

Almost more than movie songs, this feels like a list of singers not to sing. Whitney, JHud, Celine, Steven Tyler. Just don't. Unless you are amazing. Or, like me, don't care about sounding like a cat fighting a garbage truck.
reply

I don't sing. Somewhere along the way my vocal cords became inoperable. Now I sound like cats dying in the gutter. I try to spare others the pain of listening to me. I'm a professional author anyway. Singing? Not me.
reply

A million dreams isnt really that hard for me, but that might just be because I've been singing since I could talk, and the greatest showman is one of my favorite movies and I can sing every song
reply

I love the wizard of oz I love that song! Judith was 16 when wizard of oz came out! She past away along time ago! I love the great showman too I heard they was thinking about making a another movie
reply

There are three songs on this list I would not dare try! Everything else is pretty much gravy. Im really surprised Never Enough from The Greatest Showman is not on here. That song is hard!
reply

Bring on the Soundheim. Mama's song from Gypsy/. I like doing the Soliloquy from Carousel. (My boy Bill) Maria. or Tonight. from West Side Story. A Bass might favor Old Man River, from Showboat.
reply

Somewhere Over The Rainbow isn't hard to sing at all in my opinion. Judy Garland was an alto. I am an alto and while I don't have the best singing voice. I can sing this song just fine.
reply

Didn't know that over the rainbow is. From the wizard. But to be honest I don't think that most of the songs are hard to sing for a woman who did something in singing or who's talented
reply

Basically, anything JHud sings is unattainable for us mere mortals lol.
Those that work their butts off to achieve such beautiful melodies are not mere mortals either lol

reply

A million dreams, even if it has those changes, it's much easier to sing than Never Enough. But at the end of the day, it all comes to technique, range, breathing and style.
reply

Although I liked this top 10, I wouldve loved to see Il Dolce Suono (the opera song) from The Fifth Element coz thats the hardest song to sing that I can ever imagine.
reply

I can't really disagree with your pics and just for your information I've sung on Karaoke night 10 through 7 And they loved it at least that's what they told me
reply

Tick Tick Booms Therapy is also hard, considering it revolves around two persons alternating into a fast paced lyric change into a slow paced one.
reply

Over the rainbow is difficult for me to sing for a different reason. I just can't sing it without thinking about Judy and the tragedy behind the movie.
reply

Gerard Butler certainly made it sound difficult. As for Jennifer Hudson in Dream Girls, its good if you just like to hear 3 minutes of shouting
reply

I honestly can't sing, but I love to try though. But damn, Memory and Never Enough are so hard xd. I would add Into the Unknown too
reply

I just so disagree with you Cats was AWESOME even on the big screen! Those people gave their all! And one day it will be a classic!
