The last one made me remember the saddest vocal concert of my life. Our Music Down in My Soul concert was dedicated entirely to gospel and soul music. It would normally be a very upbeat and lively concert, and was always my favorite every year. But one year, one song would never be sung again quite the same. A senior girl had been driving home from school when her car got hit in an intersection by a drunk driver. She had just gotten accepted into her first choice college, and had a whole life ahead of her.
When we got to the song, our choir director stepped up and gave a speech about her, saying that she had gotten a solo in the song. She had been extatic to get the solo, as if was her favorite song, so now they were now dedicating it to her. It was a foot-tapping kind of happy song. So when we sang it, we all had smiles on our faces. But that day, there wasn't a single dry eye in the choir. The grief was palpable even through the upbeat tune.
At the end of the song, a girl two rows down from me let out a wail and sunk to the ground, inconsolable. She was one of the girl's friends. There was a small break, and the audience remained seated while the choir got down from the risers. I remember searching for my best friend over in the descending tenor section and ran and hugged him. There were friends hugging one another all over the stage. The vast majority of us hadn't even known this girl and yet her loss was unbearable to all of us in the moment.
The director told us later that he had considered leaving her solo entirely silent, with no one filling in to sing for her. It would have been nice, but it was already sad enough for all of us just to sing through it. The girl who filled in for her, I heard her voice break over the mic.

My favorite show! So many times I am left in tears. And your number 1 pick: yes absolutely. Just rewatching it brought up those emotions againi will say you guys missed one think its in kids today(season 3 opener)but it may be another episoderegardlessan older woman is dying of cancer and she takes some pills to speed things up. She calls 911 so they will be there with her daughter when she goes. The song landslide by Fleetwood Mac is playing, the woman is remembering all these things with her mother and the woman quietly slips away. Its an emotional sceneit hits me hard every time I watch it. Even more so than the motorcycle guy

For me the most emotional moment on 9-1-1 is when the old men that were married were gonna go on a trip but the car began to move and hit and killed one of the old men. The other old man was having an emotional talk with Buck and before going to say goodbye to his Husband for the last time he tells Buck You don't find it son. You make it. That's love. and then he goes to his Husband but shortly dies after. When buck stops Trying to revive him with CPR he notices the old man was holding his husband's hand when he died and then Buck said That's Love. Such an Emotional scene.

The most enotional moment for me, that lives in my head rest free is when they are listing to athena's attack over the radio, and you can just see it all in Bobby's face. And then added to that, latee on he has a conversation with her saying somethings along the lines of most people would think what would hapoen but i knew what would happen if you died. He'd already said it all with his face in that previous scene but it just added to the whole storyline. It was heart breaking

Apart from the pileup and Eddie being shot in season 4 and Buck being struck by lightning in season 6, the last one is one of the saddest scenes in the whole show. The fact that she hit the musician because she didnt see her is so heartbreaking. I mean, in a lot of car accidents, they see the cars before crashing into each other but in this case, she thought the road was clear and she was good to go. I cant even imagine the guilt she felt for so long

For me, the most emotional scene from thisbshow was when they rescued a mother who accidentaly fell down in that old field and she had 3 daughtersm she died there and the kids rode to the firetruck saying whys the siren is off. The two havr no idea but the eldest understands that their mum has passed. I cried to much as soon as the song You are my sunshine starts playing and after that scene i had to pause it and sob. It was heartbreaking.

The freeway colapse, Doug's death, David says yes to Michael, Maddie gives birth, the help is not coming 9-1-1 call, a man leaves a message for his wife during a plane crash, May's overdose, Buck gets struck by lightning, a woman calls saying her brother is going to kill himself, and Hen hitting the musician are my saddest moments from just the parent 9-1-1 show (I can think of a few more if we include Lone Star)
reply

What about buck getting struck by lightning? Or eddie getting shot and christophers mom dying, Maddie tryingnto kill herself? I got another sad 1 what about the old gay couple celebrating their anaversery and one of them got hit by a car then died and his husband was holding his hand crying and ended they ended up passing away together. I cried in every 1 of those scenes so sad

I carry the same pain as Bobby. I lost the love of my life 7 years ago. Would have had a kid by now. He was killed because his doctors wouldn't listen to us about the heart disease that ran in his family. Then, Thanksgiving day, 5 cardiac arrests and on life support. The Autopsy is what told us what happened. If the doctors listened, he'd still be here.

One of the most emotional scenes for me was when Bobby and the whole 118 had to listen to Athena fight that Rpist in the storage building. When they heard the gunshot and then silence, not knowing who got shot. They didn't know she was ok until they finally made it to the crime scene. I don't think Bobby breathed that whole ride to the scene

I wonder how shows wind up on certain networks. I can undoubtedly say with a straight face that 9-1-1 is by far the best show that the Fox network has ever had. I knew from promos pre-season 1 that I would watch but I knew some scenes would be hard to watch but I never expected to love every facet of this show like I have. It is amazing.

Hen is a cold blooded killer. She bought her problems to work and killed that poor girl in the process. Then Athena told her to lie and stick to the facts. A lesson for us all in this episode of how not to do things only difference is she has a police officer watching her six. Got off Scot-free.

I really think the very tragic scene. with Hen and the Accident with the Ambulance. and the cellist was by far one of the most emotional and tragic scenes I've. ever watched on 911 and it also. show cased the incredible acting Talent of the Actor, who plays Hen. I absolutely love 911
reply

And you missed when Athena gets the crap beat outta her by Jeffrey Hudson as everyone, including Bobby, has to listen and then they believed she got shot. Plus Bobby grabbing a weapon before marching in to save her. Or when Athena's son gets kidnapped by Jeffrey Hudson.
reply

I dont know if I remember I cried in this scene but it was a scene where two old male couples, one of them died after being crushed from a car and the other one was holding his lover hand until he also died, i believe its a Valentine episode in season 2
reply

at first i wasnt sure if Buck and the Truck were gonna be beat, but i agree with all of the ones in front of it. Most of these revolve around deaths and i think there are more emotional moments that have a lasting impact or a happier ending.
reply

I'm sorry you weren't able to include scenes from the episode Athena Begins when she has to tell the mother of her finance that her son was killed in the line of duty, and then, 30 years later, tell her that an arrest had finally been made.
reply

Hen is a horrible person. From what I have seen, she straight out murdered a poor girl driving through green lights and now she doesnt want to hand a baby back which she was temporarily fostering. Oh and she cheated on her partner
reply

that one episode from season 5, when those two pretty best friends got injured during the parade and one of them lived the other one didnt make it the worse part was when the parents got mistaken for their daughters
reply

My most emotional very tearing apart from me is massive earthquake episode from season 2 when im watching my heart beat fast and suddenly tension rise and shouting were all safe
reply

I don't know how many times I watched this video. I love 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star so much! You should make more videos about 9-1-1 and also the spin off 9-1-1: Lone Star
reply

Escalator lady was a good actress for that. I couldn't imagine being that close to happiness only to have it literally ripped away. That and the crying. just waves of agony.
reply

Maddie's video. I thought I would watch 9-1-1 again. After Season 5, episode 3 I stopped. I couldn't bring myself to watch that storyline a second time.
reply

The police horse dying on 911 would give the death of Arthur Morgan's horse a run for its money. Also please do a video like this for 911 Lone Star
reply

Some of these; absolutely yes, but if the moment doesnt directly involve the core group, theres tons other moments that could go in its place.
reply

Seeing Kevins funeral and seeing his brother chim carrying his helmet and trying to hold his tears while he rings the bell still makes me cry
reply

It's all over emotional After season one or two, they stopped focusing on the calls and went soap opera. That is why I switched to Nighwatch.
reply

The episode where the tsunami happens and buck loses christopher and searches for him, I'm like
Don't let anything happen to christopher

reply

We need an updated list for this (especially after S5 gave us Eddies breakdown and Maddies suicide attempt) and make it a top 20 instead.
reply

I may have to add on this list 6x10 and 6x11 when Buck gets struck by a lightning and Buck fighting back to come back from his Coma dream.
