I am sad that some people actually think that all is fact.
The Queen and the royal family have been through enough.
Not just screwing up the timeline, so Charles once again is the villain. Bringing Hate over the family again. NOT cool!
Making up what they are saying to each other, once again bring hate over the royal family.
Please start the intro with telling people that it is fiction, and not real.

I kind of disagree with number four. She did make small comments about Lord Altrincham rank and choice of words, but ultimately, it was a wakeup call and she agreed with him and had to keep up with a progressing country. Not only did she start following his suggestions, the first being the Christmas broadcast, she credits him for saving the monarchy.
She didn't call him out. She listened and responded.

This is such an outstanding series that there is no other drama currently that can touch it. Actors are absolutely incredible in this entire series. But one of my favorite scenes is after the Aberfan tragedy. The conversation between Queen Elizabeth and Harold Wilson is simply riveting. Just a marvelous piece of cinema in total.

My personal theory is that QEII had difficulty in expressing emotions (particularly publicly) was because her coping mechanism was to stifle emotions and put on a stiff upper lip. She did spend some of her formative years in WWII, so that experience probably stayed with her for the rest of her life.

Expressing the fact he wanted to show the Welsh people as he learn about the culture, the history and language they hold dear. He respected it and by doing that by showing respect he earn his right and their respect to be their Prince and future King.

I just started watching this. The funny thing is, when I watched the Dianna proshot, I said Queen Elizabeth dressed like Dolores Umbridge in that. Now, Doloress actress plays her

Both Claire and Olivia portrayed Elizabeth at different stages of her life extraordinarily well. I'm excited to see Imelda Staunton take on the character into the next two seasons.

Epitome of class, grace, elegance under pressure. 70 yrs of service to her country and to her people selflessly. She is the Keep Calm and Carry On. such an inspiration.

The entire exchange between The Queen and Philip discussing Diana doing high kicks and spins for Charles birthday. The best line.
E: now who is this Billy Joe-El?

i see you wouldn't say anything about the meeting about the Queen and Jackie Kennedy. she bowed to an American so you have nothing to saying about it.

This series is amazing. Not because it's about royals, because it's about their humanity and thereby about our humanity!

My favorite is when she makes Winston feel like a little boy, coz he knows he did something wrong. (EDIT: no. 5)
