Mr. Sweeney did say that while Ned wasn't one of his best students, he was still one of his favorites. Sweeney never liked seeing Ned down. Especially when he was heartbroken after Suzie moved away. Sweeney appreciates the tips he gives students. So Sweeney did help him out during that time when Suzie moved away, along with the rest of the boys. In addition, Sweeney helped Ned do well on one of his tests by making sure he had a better notebook and got him a treat after for getting an A. When Ned couldn't find a good tutor to help him out, Sweeney decided it was best to tutor Ned himself because it was best to have it be the teacher that was going to be giving the specific test soon and Sweeney did say to Ned Summer no time for school since Ned would've went to summer school if he failed. And in the final episode, Sweeney didn't rat out Ned to Crubs for sneaking on the field trip.

The Getting Organized episode does give out some good tips, but there's one thing I think should be altered from that episode. In it, we are told to leave out our clothes all night that way we can have more time to get all of our stuff in our backpacks in the morning. While that is a good tip, I think it needs to be changed a bit. You see, sometimes weather can change randomly the next day when you check it on the weather app the night before. You can still pick your clothes the night before and leave them out all night, but you might still wanna do a double check when you wake up. In addition, it's best that you have everything in your backpack ready the night before. I feel like that would save extra time in the morning. I told my friends this who hasn't seen the show and she agrees that's a more improved tip.

One tip I'll always remember is from the episode where Ned decides to just do the work rather than thinking of ways to get around it but still get good marks. Then he finds out that by actually doing the work he gets a B.
I forget the science teachers name but he was like Bigby. big B
But yeah this is honestly key to procrastination. Ultimately, you gotta just do it. And once you start you realize it wasn't as bad. Sometimes starting is the hardest part. Especially with an essay but once you get going you breeze through it and wonder why the hell you wasted your time procrastinating.

The Ned's declassified advice for procrastination. Definitely came in handy when it came to getting my place back together. Do one chore at a time make a list of things that need to be done and if you keep it up everyday it gets a lot easier meaning more time for goofing off. I'm also trying to learn making more home-cooked meals so I don't have to go back to my annoying sister. And the show's advice keep trying definitely helps I learned don't be afraid if you make a mistake just keep trying and today I'm getting a little better at making home cooked meals

Ned's Declassified definetly helped me through Middle school and high school. And college too. I always do the work, ask for help, keep my room clean, and plan my schedule. If it wasn't for this show, I don't know where I'd be.
Although I do get stressed if I get any grade below a B- for a class. Hard for me to accept that.

I liked this series VERY MUCH because it was the ONLY way I INDEED learned some of those tips for my real life! I guess the procrastination example was the most useful for myself (I still do it, but with much less frequently than when I was younger! I watched this as an early teenager just like the characters!

My favorite one was preparing for school the night before, I didnt put it fully into practice until college but it was super helpful. Setting out your clothes and packing your bag the night before is super easy and makes getting to work so much faster (esp if you have a hard time waking up like me.

I love the tip about reading, it's important and theres some tips to just read a little each day, maybe 15-20 pages a day, and even lookup quick notes on chapters so you can understand what was going on in the book if you didnt understand certain things.

This show is a gem! Watched it all the time when I was in 3rd and 4th grade, and am rewatching it on Paramount+ with my brother. It's so original and it acts like a mix between a sitcom and cartoon. Even almost 20 years later it holds up super well!

I would like to add one thing to the clip about number 7: :: use the full clip of Ned saying no because in that montage he says no to a study date with the girl hes crushing on, without realizing it.
And then hes all like NNNNOOOOOOO

This show legit helped me through Middle and High School, and as is the point of this video, it still helps me as an adult.
See, this is how you make a good kids show.
Make it entertaining, but also educational.

This show was amazing. I remember watching all the episodes before I went into middle school thinking I was getting prepared.
A few things hold up but honestly this was more like high school than middle school at times.

the bad part, for me, is that in Italy, most of Ned's tips like the Lockers or the Caffeteria's, are usless. Still, the one that could be applied in my country were actually useful: sit in front, not procrastinate ecetera.

Number 8 is actually really helpful. Like every student I have failed a few tests since kindergarten. But Im made it through high school and now Im going to college which is exceptional among kids of my disability

This show was one of my favorites, and these are the most helpful tips from the entire series. I just wish they made this show 4 years sooner while I was still IN school instead of after I graduated

There's no such thing as an evil teacher. Just strict. You only see them as evil because they either, a. Have a teaching method outside your comfort zone. Or b. Try to bring out the best in students

The video topic aside, I wonder how they did the basketball on the finger thing the entire series. Because there's no way he could keep doing that in a perfect Center motion while walking.
reply

Some of the tips I use to this day are I plan out my outfits the night before and pack up my backpack so that way everything is ready when i get up and i can also maybe sleep in a little
reply

When I went to college, I re-watched this show and remembered how helpful the tips were! I don't think I would have gotten my BA without help from Ned, Cookie, and Moze.

That pack stuff the night before tip is a life saver. Always made brakfast, lunch and my backpack the night before so you don't have to do this when you are in a hurry.

7: 28 I finally got to see that guy with a plunger in his mouth to shut up. I thought it was fake or didn't happen. I remember laughing from seeing that as a running gag

They actually almost made a spinoff of Ned's Declassified with them in high school, but they decided to invest in Drake & Josh and Zoey 101 instead

I realized I've internalized that Get a Haircut 2 Weeks Before for YEARS now. Almost wanna re-watch the show to figure out what else stuck to me

You know I always wondered if the actor that played Seth actually spun a basketball on his finger for that long whenever he appeared on the show.
