Greed. Ego. Jealousy. Weak character. Just saw the 5th episode, I know where its going, but realized had Steve allowed Nick to be the face of chippendales, it was going to continue to grow in popularity & more money. Nick could have given Steve credit (if that part is true) but his faults (ego) got in his way. These two men could have had long successful careers.
Tragedy on many levels.

My mom & aunt went to every single Chippendales show when they came to NC in the late 80's & early 90's to do shows. They would also watch another group out of FL called Malibus Most Wanted. As an adult, I now know why my mom & aunt always sent us kids to stay the night with our grandma those times & it wasn't because they would be home late or because our dads wouldn't have kept us

Absolutely loving the new series so far! As soon as I saw Juliette Lewis I knew I was in! Plus 80s LA, theres nothing better for a film or show. Its so sad what ultimately ends up happening. Money really is the root of all evil. You can never have enough, and if you are one of the few who manage to have too much of it, it takes you down. Truly sad.

At the start when Steve starts out as a poor gas attendant Im guessing thats to get you to feel sorry for him & admire the way he worked up to be an entrepreneur. All that comes across is poor business running, greed & jealousy in the end

Watching smart, talented men allow their egos to ruin everything is frustrating, but Im really enjoying the Hulu series. I had no idea the origin story of Chippendales was so sordid and sad.

I love how we have a Pakistani actor playing an Indian character. Both those things generally dont mix, but this is America. And they are making The character much more masculine than he is.

Paul Snider was slime on every level. and no matter what was said about the Playboy empire. he was a bottom feeder who should never have been allowed near Dorothy ever again.

There's only been about two episodes released so far, yet I'm already enticed to see where it will head next. 2022 is certainly the year for the True Crime Based Drama shows!

The actress doesn't remind me in any way of Dorothy. Met her later on. She was such a sweet person.
The actress doesn't look like her, and doesn't seem as intelligent.

I saw the Chippendales in the mid 80's in Atlanta, GA. It was awesome. Very sad that all that crime happened to them.

Both A & E and ID did the story, at the same time, in early 2022 So I've seen those so will not watch this program

I enjoyed it, but after watching documentaries following, I question a lot of the changes they made to facts.

I'm on episode 5 and it's infuriating how Steve puts down every great idea that the choreographer has
