BTS scandals-
1) Saejagi (2015-16): Proved to be only Other Kpop companies mediaplay because BTS started outselling big groups from BIG3 in South Korea which was impossible for a group like BTS that came from a Broke ass company.
2) 2016 Daesang rigged allegations: Another Scandal started by Exols (EXO fandom) where they filed petition to Blue House to disband BTS because BTS won their First Daesang(Main prize) against their favs who was the biggest boygroup back then. But The award Organization Melon declined the allegations proving them wrong.
3) Plaigarism(2014-15): Another Mediaplay done by Kpop companies of Big3 based on Hair colour, clothes, sitting, breathing, sleeping etc.
4) Jimin Tshirt (2018): Japanese nazi organization started attacking the band in 2018 because of a Shirt BTS member Jimin wore which was given by their fans on Korean liberation day. Kpop fandoms started to put oil onto fire (exposed by Japanese media that Kpop fandom exols, blinks etc tipped off J-media to bash BTS. BTS fandom ARMY made a White Paper project in different languages to educate people on the issue. The hate bandwagon was put into an end and ever since that incident BTS went into become THE biggest Act in Japan bringing in the most revenue for Japanese music industry.
5) RM misogynistic lyrics in War of Hormone (2014)- He reflected on his actions and since the issue he always asked opinions of Woman educators/professors to educate himself. Later speak on International Television in front of his own president about the issue. He was also Blacklisted by a Big Misogynistic Organization as he is a popular figure who is a Feminist.
6) Am I wrong & Spring day(2016-17) - BTS made songs against the government multiple times. They sang the song Am I wrong in front of the officials when there was a Big ban for Pop acts or commerners to riot about anything.
I think these were the biggest events that nearly cost their career.

The girls aloud stuff is rubbish, they got on they were a band for 10years and were planning a 20year old tour, but Sarah got cancer and spread all through her body, they all got on and yeah Kim, nic and Cheryl went out more on their own and Sarah and nadine went out on their own on nights out and sometimes together, they were British ambassadors for UK to China, also yes Cheryl did her time but the albums on solo was on a little bit of a break and they had plans for their 10th anniversary well before that break, they never split. they are brilliant and also need a return as a 4 now. Im a major massive fan of girls aloud and Sugababes, they had more scandals than any other girl groups x

Im absolutely, percent convinced Lou was a predator and more, Aaron was a victim of his who never came to accept what was done to him. Watching his reaction when he was asked if he believed the allegations against Lou were true is heartbreaking, devastatingly sad. RIP, AC. You are so missed.

I am a 1D fan from the bottom of my heart, but damn that interview Liam gave where he also shaded Zayn felt so off that I still feel ashamed of him.
One question about that Lou Pearlman case though. Did all the bands receive the their fair share at the end?

reply

the way grown adults were talking extensively about 3 young boys in their teens/barely early 20s and their private lives is SO WEIRD like young artists cant do anything right theyre either ridiculed for being too clean or scrutinized if they act out
reply

Those poor Menudo boys knew many, many, many male record executives. intimately. It still shocks me that Ricky Martin can walk right after his busy Menudo days. That Perlman guy was a pedophile, plain and simple. I am glad he died in prison.
reply

There is a special place in hell for Lou Perlman.
And a lot of child stars became stars because their parents were utter failures so they live vicariously through their children. Poor MJ and all other child stars that had to go through that.

How come I never hear of white celebrity entertainers actors musicians going broke/bankrupt because of overspending or bad contracts? I have only heard of blacks like Will Smith, MC Hammer, 50 cent, TLC, Toni Braxton, Lil Kim. etc
reply

I'm a little surprised Hanson isn't on here (not sure if everyone considers them a boy band, but they were basically the Jonas Brothers for millennials. They've lost a lot of fans because of Zac's racist and homo/transphobic views.
reply

what about the A. J issues or when Kevin left the band for mental health and stay away of the public eye and even Robbie had his issues, Gary Barlow said that he have open invitation to sing with the group whenever he want
reply

Please tell me in not the only one, I've just realize a lot of these successful solo pop artist were actually part of a boy band, like Zayn and Harry Styles for example, I'm an One Direction fan but i didn't know.
reply

. I always thought Joe Jackson was a monster, but then I grew up. He's technically right about raising his kids the way he did; it was that way at that time. However, he raised some of the world's greatest talent.
reply

Wow I knew A. J. had issues with alcohol and stuff they announced that they would take time off for it after black and blue album never knew Nick did but I'm glad they pushed through i love the Backstreet Boys

BAP and TRCNG Abusive Management scandal
Omega X abusive management scandal
LOONA abusive management scandal
I swear you can make an entire video about abusive managements of kpop groups lol

reply

you also forgot to mention the New Kids On The Block facing ridiculous lip-syncing allegations in the wake of the Milli Vanilli scandal. a lot of people turned on them for that despite not being true.
reply

if you ever do a part 2, you should look into the lawsuit between Why Don't We and their old management team. those boys went through some serious shit at the beginning of their careers
reply

Loved that you mentioned N. Flying because they deserve so much more attention and recognition. However I think a bigger scandal in Kpop might have been BI getting kicked out of IKON
reply

The kpop group B. A. P was extremely underpaid and essentially used by their label, that's a very underrated scandal.
A more known one was what happened with Seungri in Bigbang

reply

Also, when it comes to people who were obsessed with the Jonas Brothers purity rings, are the same people that were obsessed with Britney Spears being an virgin
reply

I saw Boyband Con documentary. It was horrible what that guy did to both Backstreet & N' Sync. I was like Wowww, wonder what else goes on behind closed doors!
reply

POV: You already know what number one is going to be when you start the video. If you didn't know, then you can invest more time into music.
reply

Why are they getting on Zayn Malik for leaving 1D. When the group broke up, Harry Styles ended up becoming more successful than Zayn Malik
reply

As someone whos follows done direction from their xfactor days. zany was never happy never wanted to be there never enjoyed any of it lol
reply

Its quite unfortunate Nick Carters younger brother fell victim to the horrible consequences of substance abuse. RIP Aaron.
reply

Curious why it's Nick Carter's addiction they focused on instead of AJ's in the BSB, when AJ struggled for so much longer.
reply

Take That reuniting with Robbie Williams was one of the happiest Moments of my life. It's stil the best boyband ever.
reply

Fame and Corruption got to Seungri, he danced with the devil, and now hes paying the price by being in jail
reply

If Im not mistaken, I think Robbie Williams is now living in LA, which is stressful enough and depressing
