Why Destiny's Child are part of this? They don't belong to that era. they belong to 90's. Besides. Spice Girls did more than DC. Spice Girls is one of the best female group of all times. What about the another amazing groups like: The Cheetah Girls, 2NE1, Wonder Girls and 4minute? Those group was amazing and began their careers late 2000's insted Girl Generation.
PD: Nicole wasn't the only good singer of Pussycat Dolls Melody Thornton is the best singer of PCD.

What about The Cheetah Girls? Not even a mention I think is quite disrespectful considering that they sold more records than the second half of the list and they're more famous worlwide not just in the UK or Korea like many of the list. Eventhough it was a young oriented pop group they had great messages like female empowerment, sorority and cultural inclusion.

Im genuinely disappointed in this list Blaque, Danity Kane and 3LW should not have been honorable mentions those groups sold bigger than some of the ones you put on the list. You also left off Cherish and Destinys Child already had 2 platinum selling albums before the year 2000 so they really took off in the 90s. Who made this list? I want answers!

Sugababes and Girls Aloud were defo the highlight of 2000s and quite generally of pop industry as whole. Quite disappointed to not see All Saints tho. They may be more of a 90s thing, however, both Pure Shores and Black Coffee were number ones in 2000 as well as the pivotal moments for the industry.

I havent heard most of these bands but I heard the songCinderella. a song from the sugar babes(which I was surprised they did a kelly clarkson song, three songs from the Pussycat dolls, one from atomic kittens, one from Las Ketchup, and two or three from destinys child

I don't know half of these groups, but I loved Blaque in the early 2000s because of the Bring It On soundtrack (I was obsessed with it, Dream was a one hit wonder, but I still love that song. I also had the first two Destiny's Child albums.
