The entry on The Pat Sajak Show was a bit muddled here, so a brief explanation:
Pat left NBC's daytime Wheel of Fortune (not the syndicated nighttime version; he stayed there) on January 9, 1989 to do his talk show, which debuted that night on CBS. As time went on, CBS began tweaking the show, but nothing really worked ratings-wise (given it was against Carson and Arsenio. yeah. Pat later started taking Fridays off with guest hosts in his place, but after the mess that was the March 30, 1990 show guest hosted by Rush Limbaugh. CBS decided to just can the show entirely, slotting an end date of April 13. Pat opted not to come back for those final two weeks, and so more guest hosts were brought in. The last Pat Sajak Show was hosted by comedian Paul Rodriguez, which he and Pat actually brought up when Paul played on Wheel a few years later.
As for daytime Wheel, it managed to stick around without Pat through August 1991, but that's another story.

I like the Wanda Sykes show mainly cause it was one of the shows that helped me get through a rough patch I was going through.
Megan Mullally Show I love that show I even planned to make a birthday trip to try to see her show live but unfortunately it was canceled quickly.
Chevy Chase Show. Watched one and I'll never get that time back.
Jay Leno show never watch cause I never watched his Tonight Show era. He should've left in the first place.
I remember Martin Short, Pat Sajack, Alan Thicke, Busy Phillips, Bethanny had shows but never watched.
I didn't know Kris Jenner had a show. Why? She not making enough money from that shit show her and her family were on?

I liked the Bethanny show. I thought it was good and was surprised it got canceled. I thought she'd be good competition for Wendy Williams, honestly.
What people fail to mention about the Tonight Show fiasco is the when Conan O'Brien took over the Tonight Show, the ratings suffered and people were DVRing the Jay Leno Show and watching it during the Tonight Show slot, which is why the network moved his show to the Tonight Show time slot and then, ultimately, gave the show back the Leno.

Megan Mullaly's show could have lasted longer if she had waited a year or two. It was right after Will and Grace ended, and people weren't ready to see her as anything but Karen Walker yet. You missed Katie Couric and Magic Johnson's talk shows. Caroline Rhea's was another one. They put her in Rosie O'Donnell's time slot, in the exact same studio. They didn't even redecorate it for her.

No shade, but this list should've been called Top 10 Talk Shows That Were Unsuccessful. At least that implies a show got dropped with 1 season; canceled means a show would've lasted 2-20 years before its axing. Also, this should've been a Top 20 list (as many comments besides mine will prove.

Wanda Sykes had a show? On what network? Wow the time these shows last are funny, just shows how boring or uninteresting they were! I totally forgot Mehgan had a show! Busy Tonight show was so boring. I just stopped watching! I'm actually glad they canceled it. I actually liked Bethanny.

IMO Alan Thicke, Chevy Chase and Jay Leno should have been given a better chance. Did not like Martin Short show at all! Some of these look like they never should have been given the green light at all--LOL!

Queen Latifah's show was great! I'm so sad it didn't last longer. Also what about Tyra Bank's show Tyra? Tyra in particular had very high ratings, and was bonkers with some of the stuff she covered.

Dear God 'Kris ' Kardashian had a talk show. Its bad enough the show Kardashians on E had a show on there and got cancelled finally. Celebrated with Jack and coke but then sadly they came back again. OMG

The Megan Mullally Show wasnt bad by any means but I think Im the only person who was watching it. Not to mention that most of her guests were stars of TV shows that no one had ever heard of.

Wanda Sykes and Martin Short are obnoxious. People were expecting to see the character Karen Walker and they got the person Megan Mullally and she wasn't as entertaining as Karen to people.

The Ricki Lake Show she did in 2012-2013. I was one of few who actually enjoyed it ad thought it had some good topics. But I guess audience wanted the same tacky show she had in the 90's.

What about the Meredith Vieira show? Yes, it lasted for three seasons but her talk show never caught on and it lacked the sparkle that others like Ellen and Oprah had.
