There was an actual mistake in this video. Lol
The narrator said in the video that Perrito was given that name due to his very careless owners who named him that name saying that it proved how much they didn't care about him but in full reality it was Puss and Kitty who gave him that name by calling him that constantly in the movie.
I looked up the meaning and it means a cat in a soft blanket so it's not really a wasteful name and besides the word puppy is a cute word too even if it meant it that way.
It's better compared to all of the curse word names that he got anyways.
I hugely enjoyed this video though. :)

I gotta say, this movie really nailed how to create the perfect sidekick character who serves as comic relief without making him too annoying and actually making him useful in key moments. Perrito was hilarious on many occasions, but when the situation called for a serious moment, he knew when to dial it down.
IMO, a lot of sidekicks in Disney movies become extremely annoying and obnoxious. Take the two Frozen movies for example, In the first one, Olaf was decent as comic relief and it was well-timed. However, the subsequent sequels and short films ruined his character by making him really annoying

I would have not missed a last wish moment as a kid on the DVD like Bedside Manner and Puss Needs Therapy and Shrek References and A Bueller-Esque Post-Credits Scene and Goldi's Geriatric Line and The Good, The Boots And The Ugly and Akira Inspiration and The Ethical Bug's Familiar Voice and A Mature Voice Cast and The Logan Of DreamWorks Sequels and Heaviest Cream and Coins On Eyes and Big Jack Horner's Casual Murdering and DingleBerries and The Bell Tolls 8 Times and Perrito's Tragic & Messed-Up Backstory and What The Hell Did He Say and The Portrayal Of Anxiety and Meditations On Death

I really love Perrito in this movie. His backstory is so horrible and sad, yet he still has so much optimism, appreciates all the good things in life, and just wants to help people. He's a perfect foil to Puss and Kitty, and he helps them both overcome their problems. I especially love the scene where he calms Puss down during an anxiety attack. We could all learn a thing or two from Perrito.

Did no one notice that puss 2 both confirms and disproves myths about cats?
Pib1: is it true a cat always lands on it's feet?
NO! That's just a rumor spread by dogs!
pib 2: puss dies trying to prove this and is drunk. He also dies by dogs.
safe to say those dogs started the rumor as revenge and puss tried to confirm. Only to learn the hard way.

I am confused about number 4 I didn't notice anything and keep looking at that scene I didn't notice anything can someone explain to me what was the word because I don't hear anything there
Edit: if you mean hell as far as I know hell is not a swear word so someone let me know what word they were talking about

The name of Clint's character is the Man with No Name. The trilogy is also called that. It consists of Fist full of Dollars, A Few Dollars More and The Good the Bad and the Ugly. The way the flower strips all the flesh off that one workers body reminds me of the creatures in the film Beastmaster.

Perrito's story made me cry and it hurts how he was rejected. yet he also shows how to overcome your past and move towards a positive future. and I like how they incorporated Goldilocks and the Three Bears as both villains and a loving family. this movie is a top favorite

53: Whoa. February, 2023 and for the first time in WatchMojo history, you say What the hell did he just say?
Okay, I know Maleficent from Disneys Sleeping Beauty is the first to use that word but now this? Wow. I dont know who helped make this list but this is a first

would like to say that NONE of the swear words are censured in portuguese (at least in BR) and it was AMAZING to watch in the theathers, everybody laughed so much! Also Wagner moura is a brazillian actor but he wasnt casted for the dubbing lol!

As someone who struggles with anxiety, I really liked how they interpreted anxiety and panic attacks, the way it was shot and animated was raw and emotional and I think children can relate to it and find the idea of a therapy dog comforting

42: Oh yeah. Very funny. I dont know if anybody noticed this but The Lion King was mentioned in the stage musical of Shrek.
Its the scene when Shrek and Donkey are out to save the princess and on the road was the musical of The Lion King

That's one of the many things i love about The Last Wish like a lot of animated films these days it had elements in the plot for both kids and adults to enjoy! animated movies that can appeal to audiences of all ages are just the best!

45: Jack Horner is a villain in the movie but the wolf named Death stole the spotlight. He got under my skin when I saw this in theaters.
Even when it comes to villains, honestly General Mandible in Antz wasnt that evil or menacing

reply

I like how carefully the movie is written where it's never too melancholy and manages to stay entertaining for kids and adults. We just watched it and loved every minute of it. One of the best family movies in recent memory, IMO.

I seen first 5 minutes of puss in boots so far but I think the therapy scene is like a therapy dog. I also find cats calming from someone's experience. I also do my fair share of 4th wall breaks

Then one day, they put me in a sock, with a ROCK in it! And then they threw me in a river! And then I made a hole in the sock and I swept to the surface! Never found them, or my litter mates
reply

It's both funny and sad that perrito had such a sad origin and is so oblivious to it and puss and kitty are the only ones who understand and admit out of the three, he should have the wish the most
reply

#17 has got to be my favorite. Ferris Bueller's Day Off is my favorite teen movie from the 80's. When Puss broke the 4th wall, I was like When did he turn into Ferris Bueller?
reply

im so sad about this and i cant say anything about this but they use phoniex as a flamethrower its our past our fiction and its a fcking flamethrower?
i sad about that

reply

Did anyone notice when Perrito showed his belly and asked Puss to rub it, he had a big scar with stitches along his side? It makes his backstory even sadder.

I've put coins in my eyes before on a few occasions. Didn't have a single clue as to what the meaning of it was to some ancient cultures. o. o

Moral of the story: appreciate what you have, and dont take any of it for granted. ESPECIALLY your life. Never know when youll lose it.
reply

Deaths mission reminds me of the Ghost of Christmas Yet-to-Come, another literature character that might live in the Shrek-verse.
reply

When I went with my mom and my sister to see this movie, the entire audience was adults. There were no children. It was funny
reply

54: Im not a huge fan of swearing but the beep sound is funny. I accidentally said a swore in Spanish. I didnt even know
reply

Its pretty sad to think that while puss is on his last life I dont think kitty is. She will outlive him and perrito
reply

it might have been Akira insperation but it was definitley Attack On Titan reference in the opening scene
reply

48: I laughed at the catnip thing as a kid and this one as well. Hey, Im 24 years old. You think I didnt know?
