My favorite will ALWAYS be Hilary Duff! :)
But I love Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Zac Efron, and Miley Cyrus too.
I also love Hayden Panettiere.
Let's just say that I love the Disney and Nickelodeon stars in case I miss any like Miranda Cosgrove. :)
Obviously I LOVE Harry Potter as well. :)
You know who else should have been mentioned?
Lindsey Lohan, Amanda Bynes, and Alyson Stoner!
In fact, whenever I see these child stars list I never really see Alyson Stoner. Now why is that? She deserves recognition!
Number one pick is good though Dakota Fanning is pretty good yet I don't really follow her often except through the Twilight films honestly.
But I did love UpTown Girls, Charlotte's Webb, and Coraline so there. Lol: )

Hayden Pantierre was in two soap operas before she was in these movies. She was just 5 when she starred on One Life to Live, she's was adorably cute but still was a great actress for a very young girl. Once she was 8, she was on Guiding Light playing a very serious role as her character had leukemia. Once she was cast in Heroes, I knew I had to watch the show. Not just for watching her act but that the show probably made other good casting choices as well.

Hayden Panettiere started out in soaps first. I remember her most as Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light--I even read that her mom was a soap actress as well. It was in her blood to give emotional performances like that. I loved her in Nashville, and I've watched most of her 2000s movies.

Didn't Hayden Panettieres brother pass away? I don't think he did. I think it's just a hoax or a dream. Like I didn't see it coming because she and her brother have had such low profiles like the past 5 years and I think nothing was wrong with him. Who agrees with me?

Thanks for taking us back to a simpler time. Dakota Fanning was always my favourite child star. Even though she's not as much in the spotlight, I still love seeing her pop up in random projects, plus her sister Elle has carved a successful career in her own right.

Olivia was so cute. I wonder how the actress who played Rudy felt. It's hard when you hit like 8/9 and you no longer look like an innocent little cabbage patch kid so you get traded in for a new cabbage patch looking kid. I hated being 9.

All of these, except for Daniel, were my childhood! I think Mary Kate and Ashley should have been on here too. yeah they were popular in the 90s, but also in the early 2000s

You didn't even mention Dakota Fanning appearing in Twilight, albeit in a smaller role. She was still in one of the most prominent book/movie franchises in the 2000s.

Poor Amanda Bynes, she was thrust into the spotlight at such a young age. I hope that she's doing better for herself in her fashion designer career.

At one point Daniel Radcliffe was the youngest person I would allow myself to have a crush on.
That has since changed. (Dylan and Cole Sprouse)

Dakota Fanning was also in Kim Possible, except she only voiced her character as a Pre-K version from A Sitch In Time.

Putting Dakota Fanning at number 1 is like putting Macaulay Culkin at number 1 for the 90's. It was a given.
