Honey
Shirley Ralphs character from Abbot Elementary is one hell of a teacher!
But also Her character a little bit reminds me of my sister-in-law my nieces mother who passed away in 2019 her mother was a teacher for almost 30 years in the Mississippi school system now see you anywhere!
Some of the things that her character Barbara talks about is kind of similar to my nieces mother so like I said her mother was a teacher for over 30 years experience but she went back and started substitute teaching for almost 4 years before her diagnosis of cancer!
Like I said the character Barbara minds me of my sister-in-law and this is a ordinary sitcom comedy show that gives us a downside of what teachers go through and Im hoping this show make parents appreciate the teachers that is teaching their children!

I liked when the teachers were arguing about who should get basketball tickets, Barbara made herself like the most important teacher. Melissa clapped back saying yous only teach 5 year olds to use safety scissors and Barbara clapped back that her kindergarten teacher didnt do a good job since yous isnt plural for you.

I have to admit I wasn't impressed with this show at first, but I powered through it and ended up loving it!
Also being from Southern NJ, I grew up right across the river from Philadelphia and enjoy seeing all the mentions of Philly and its culture!

I love the clip of Sea Barbara, its my favorite! But you clipped off that last bit where Barbara laughs then catches herself when she realizes shes being filmed. That little bit of acting from Sheryl Lee Ralph gets me every time

Sheryl Lee Ralph is a wonderful cast to this heart filled series. She has wisdom, sass and confidence all wrapped up in one class act. Sea Barbra versus Land Barbra lol!

You can't do a show in Philly or SEPA and not mention Jim Gardiner. Happy Retirement Jim, a real Philadelphia institution.
