I think A LOT of bibliophiles (book lovers) relate to Belle. There is a favorite princess and then a relatable princess. Jasmine is my favorite and Aladdin was always my favorite to watch growing up. But as I got older, my love for books just kept growing and I became more like Belle! Also like EVERY book lover wishes to have THE LIBRARY! 2 of my favorites quotes that I live by daily is,
A room without books is like a body without a soul. Cicero
I have lived a thousand lives and I've loved a thousand loves. I've walked on distant worlds and seen the end of time. Because I read. George R. R Martin

oh yeah Tiana is the first we identify with wanting to push ourselves hard to achieve our dreams and when I saw the movie, all was set seemed almost modern like today and also the most relatable for me is Mirabel, because mostly in our families sometimes what we do to help is not enough no matter how hard we try and I identify with her pain. And oh yeah the embarrasing blunders of Mulan and I laughed at Rapunzel's existential crisis, what is identifiable is that sometimes we are also so conflicted with ourselves jaja

To me, the most relatable Disney moment is pretty much Mirabels entire life from Encanto. While she is loved by her entire family, shes still considered the black sheep and has difficulty fitting in with them as a whole due to her lack of magic. Thats also been me my entire life as well due to my ADHD and Aspergers. Im loved by my family but due to my differences, Im the oddball, ESPECIALLY with my immediate family and I always have to feel like Im someone Im not in order to fit in

Neither Mirabel nor Meg are Disney Princesses because they officially aren't, nor are they OR do they ever become royality. Technically Mulan shouldn't be counted as a Disney Princess either due to the latter two reasons but still she is officially is, probably due to her being The Hero of China. Also Eilonwy should be counted as a Disney Princess as she IS a princess but because of the failure of The Black Cauldron, she doesn't.

One relatable thing I see in disney princesses is: Little to no patience with others
For example, when Moana first met Maui and he was going on about being Maui demigod of the wind and sea, hero to all and thinks that he's Moana's hero. You can see that Moana was getting fed up with his ego and literally wacked him with her oar.
That is me when ever someone is testing my patience and it's so relatable

Kristen Bell has said she has always been disappointed by Disney princesses she watched growing up, and they always looked and acted perfectly. Thats why when she got to play Anna, she made her character awkward and clumsy and not looking perfect all the time, to show young girls that princesses will have slip-ups and make mistakes too, despite their royal title

Rapunzel's little whoo-hoo noise at the end of rolling down the hill may be my favourite noise in all of Disney.
Great list of relatable moments, but as an island girl, I love my 2 princesses of the sea, Moana and Ariel. I am the biggest dreamer just like Ariel and determined to carve my own path and save my whole world just like Moana.

I love this video and I feel like can relate to Belle for her big love of reading like me. And I relate to Anna from frozen because shes clumsy, relate to Moana because of how fearless she is and how felt like she wanted to give up, mirabel for feeling like she doesnt fit in with everyone. I experienced that a lot.
reply

I honestly relate to Mulan more than I should. She had to pretend to be someone she's not because of the rules set by society and she struggled to fit in because she was different from other people.
As someone who had to mask my autism throughout my childhood, this speaks volumes to me as an adult

It irritated me that everyone kept giving Tiana crap for working hard. Like ok i get that yes, you should have fun but unlike most, she busted her ass to get where she wanted which is exactly how life is. You don't get anywhere by just sitting and waiting for things to just be handed to you.
reply

I hope one day Mirabel is recognized as an official Disney Princess, because there have been a handful of them who arent actually royalty. She would be a perfect addition. Im so glad she was recognized for this list because shes definitely relatable in so many ways.
reply

I relate most to Tiana, not just because of her crashing in bed, but from being so overworked nearly 24/7. It's characters like her that remind me how much it's worth it, while characters like Naveen remind me that everyone needs to let loose sometimes.
reply

Me grown up and having some trouble watching Mulan's matchmaking scenes. Her makeup is definitely not Chinese (personally thought it looked more similar to Japanese style make up if not plz inform) while she is wearing some sort of Han dynasty looking garb
reply

Vanellope is the one I relate to the most. Autism is my glitch and I have been bullied for who I was, much like she was in the first Wreck-It Ralph. It also helps that shes a video game character and video games/Nintendo is my special interest.
reply

Even through she not official Diseny Princess Ahsoka is someone I relate to the most. Her struggles to prove herself, learning form her mistakes, doing the right thing, not giving in to her anger, and taking a stand against corruption in society.
reply

apparently the statue of the prince and the human knick-knacks were in the original story
disagree with you regarding teenage period/adolescence: in the Ancient World there was no such concept, and teenagers were already considered adults

9: 03 same girl same I love reading 9: 41 thats so me 10: 16 also me they tell me to get ready and I have no idea were going or I forget and just want to fall back asleep 12: 37 thats my sister she sometimes works double shifts at buffaloes
reply

Ariel it's literally the worst, and I don't think his actitud was relatable for a sixteen years old girl, she only have interest in surface for a boy, and I think the healthy teenager must have other interest's like friends, family or hobbies
reply

I relate most to Elsa I think. She feels like she has to be perfect and tries to bottle up her emotions, with the result of accidentally letting them out in random bursts. And shes seen as cold sometimes but has a huge heart
reply

The princess and the frog is something i can relate. I work hard and never seem like u am getting anywhere. The second one is Rapunzel with the war within my heart and head. And last up is Cinderella. She works but keeps trying

Once again I see myself in Tiana. I might as well change my name at this point in my life My friends have all pointed out multitudes of things when it comes to Tiana, and this is just the icing on the cake
reply

Relate to Raps, Belle, and Anna so much. I'm indecisive, love books more than people, want adventure until I'm pushed into it, and look so awful in the mornings
reply

The fact that Beast couldnt read just confirms not only that he was a child when he was transformed but that he didnt have anyone to teach him how to read.
reply

I relate to Alice the most. When I was a kid I liked getting lost in my own imagination.
I also kind of relate to Melody, as I suffer from social anxiety.

reply

I relate to Belle the most out of any other Disney Princess. We both are book worms and spend our free time in the Library never wanting to leave.
reply

So many relatable moments. I am so glad that newer movies give us a look at imperfections and some normal humanity as opposed to perfection.
