The person that they are talking about Ark Lassitner, or however you spell his name, was the boyfriend to Miss Robbie Montgomery, from WELCOME TO SWEETIE PIE'S, Boyfriend, and the FATHER to her first son, (before she had Tim, I think he was something like 26 years older than Tim) that got murdered, but he was never in this life, [Bcuz of whatever fight he(Ark L) and Ike had, and whatever it was about, no one really knows our have spoken on it, probably money, but anyway, he really took the fight to Heart, meaning he was very very angry at Ike, and no matter how long Ike spent looking for him, and calling him, he couldn't find him, and he didn't show up for the studio session, that Ike already had paid for, so Ike told Joshie, one of the Iketts to just record the demo, so that Ike would not lose his Studio money, however Joshie did not know the lead vocals to the song, and neither did Robbie, she only knew the background vocals to it, that's all Ike had them rehearse, little Ann, who was pregnant by the drummer in the group, Raymond Hill, as was the other 2 Iketts, had started Living with Ike and his girlfriend, and their 2 children at the time, so she was around him all the time now, she actually knew the whole song, and after Joshie said that she couldn't do it, Little Ann said she knew it, and he used her voice to record the demo, now all Ike had to do was find Ark, and take her off, and put him on, but Ark purposely made sure nobody told Ike where he was, not because he was scared of Ike Turner, but because he was done with him for whatever the fight was about, for good, so he told Miss Robbie to leave abd tell Ike, that she's quitting the Iketts, and come with him, and not to worry about the baby, because even though she was pregnant, and so was Tina, who was known as little Anne at the time BTW, because he could get a job with someone else as a bass guitar player, until he was able to record his own album, although she considered it, she loved him, but now that Sue records decided they liked the record better with the lead Iketts voice, better than they would any man's voice, and after hadn't been able to find Mr. Lassiter for weeks, Sue Records released it, they all were hoping for it to at least shoot up to 32 on the R&B chart, but it shot to number 2 on the pop chart, and was the biggest album of his entire career, with the money from that he formed the Ike and Tina Turner Revue, and immediately went on tour with the Rolling Stones in Europe, and now the Robbie had a son, she also needed a way to take care of him, she could not sit around waiting for her boyfriend to get a job as a base guitar player, while he's hoping to make his album, when she's singing already background on an album that just blew up the charts, and knew that Ike was ready to tour, and Ike told her, that long as he has a job she had a job, so she had to depend on herself, and she took Ike up on his offer] he was her first son's father that got murdered, named Andre Montgomery senior, he had one son Andre Montgomery Junior, who would later be murdered, when his Uncle Tim Montgomery, would set him up, to be murdered, after being convinced you, that he had his grandmother's house set up to be robbed, Murray, who paid someone the murder, and end the life of his own nephew, Andre Montgomery Junior. It's so crazy how the world truly just turns around,

I'm too young to have a Tina Turner memory, but Private Dancer (with bonus tracks) is the first music CD i bought in my early teens and i love it and the tour DVD too. As she said, Tina had just arived then and the album feels somewhat fresh and at the same time mature. Daring and succeeding to reinvent yourself, starting all over at the age of 40+ with having nothing but a name and friends is trully brave and inspiring. May her mark live eternaly and may she be at peace!

I saw Tina Turner at The Summit in Houston in 1998 I had a friend that worked for Pace concerts left me 2 tickets 8th row from the stage. It was her One Last Time Tour It was Easter Sunday She was Phenomenal of course but she did Nut Bush City and she rose from the stage on a cherry picker and it swung around right over us and I had my hands raised up and she touched my hands as she went by. It was Priceless for me

Her strength, tenacity, perseverance, class, beauty, talent gave all of us, especially women, the courage to fight for a better life even when numerous people will downplay your ability to succeed. Tina didn't count herself out in the game of life -- she proved so many naysayers wrong & she was living proof to NEVER, EVER GIVE UP, NO MATTER WHAT OR WHO STANDS IN YOUR WAY! She'll always be SIMPLY THE BEST!

I bought River Deep Mountain High in the mid 60s and have loved her music and performances ever since. Since Tina, the Musical opened in London I have taken 5 different groups of people aged from their twenties to an 81 year old and all loved the show. This shows, uniquely, the enormous appeal she has to all ages. So pleased she was able to marry the Love of her Life, before she passed away.

She was magical. And whenever you feel scared, insecure, or wandering how you can go on - look at the Eiffel tower picture, She left Ike with 34 cents in her pocket and then built a world career. Print that picture on your mirror and every morning say: if she could do that, I can get through this day. It works for me! Dear Tina - you were unbelievable.

I was blessed to be impacted by Ana Mae in a 1985 concert. I did NOT know that Ike existed for many, many years later. I do not see her as a comeback queen nor survivor nor black woman musician, but I acknowledge her simply as great musician and the BEST stage performer ever. No pyrotechnics necessary since she was fire enough!

1967 Dallas, Tx, a very early, possibly her first big appearance, my first such concert, Dallas' big Memorial Auditorium- chairs brought in for seating. I sat in 1st row, at her feet, and watched her belt out, shimmy, and shine with hubby Ike by her. Those legs! She zoomed into success from there.

It seems everything she did was, hey, you could do anything you want, whenever you want - you can do everything you want. I don't think you can put a price on what she did for millions of people just by being true to herself. She's truly up there.

My father forbid me to listen to TT because he felt as a Catholic worshiper and a military man, she (and James Brown, was forbidden in our home. When he went to the base, we would sneek and play TT. She was off limits. Wow! RIP, Queen.

She once said that she ALWAYS loved rock n roll and that she was glad to get out of R&B and 'soul music'. She recreated herself as a rock star and shook off 'race' as a defining identity to both her life and her music.

It was not just her amazing vocals and performance skills, it was her character, practical wisdom and joy. I loved Nutbush City Limits, You Better Be Good to Me and State of Shock/Only Rock n Roll at LiveAid.

Actually she didn't climb all the way ontop of the eiffel tower, she climbed midways up and the photographer took the photo at an angle so it would look like it was much taller.
