Tina Turner has such an extensive catalog of incredible music, so it had to hard to only pick 10. You mentioned We Don't Need Another Hero when talking about Acid Queen, but this could have easily been a top 20 list. Other greats are One of the Living (also from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, I Don't Wanna Fight, Better Be Good to Me, State of Shock (her duet with Mick Jagger, It's Only Love (her duet with Bryan Adams) and Better Be Good to Me all come to mind as worth a spot on this list.

The Nutbush City Limits dance was created in Australia and the country is synonymous on helping Tina Turner breakthrough as a solo artist. Other Tina Turner songs I really liked; Steamy Windows, Goldeneye, Private Dancer and My favourite song from her the very underrated I Don't Wanna Fight from the What's Love Got to do With It Soundtrack. Tina Tuner will never be forgotten. Forever the Queen of Rock and Roll. May she Rest in Peace.

Ok lets face and accept anything this phenomenal lady has sung is freaking awesome. If you dont agree, you shouldn't be here. she will be missed forever. And if your parents didn't bring you up with this stunning and beautiful voice you are missing out. So very thankful my momma raised me right and I've done 5he same for my children and they've introduced her to my grandchildren. Proudly born in 75

In Vancouver, B. C. back in 1961, I was 15, sneaking up to Danceland where the Ike & Tina band truly blew us away. Met Tina, we had a short happy chat after which I'd get shivers every time I'd hear her voice or even just hear her name. The day after her passing (R. I. P. Beautiful Soul) I got a tiny black poodle puppy, yes, her name is Miss Tina

Tonight? (w/David Bowie) Shouldve made the actual list.
Break Every Rule?
Steel Claw? Definitely shouldve made the actual list.
Whatever You Want?
CmonThere are hidden gems all throughout her solo discography that outshine half the songs she did with Ike. Dancing in My Dreams being one.

What you get is what you see is my favourite of all time! There's plenty of songs to choose from. But that's my one. She was the face of rugby league back in the 80's and it will always be close to my heart! R. I. P. Anna Mae Bullock aka Tina Turner 1939-2023. Gone but not forgotten

Not even the respect to mentions how Australia love her so much that we still own the nutbush record, also how she became the face of Aussie footy (not the kiddy padded up run about yanky style) or how she re recorded with Jimmy to make it an even better version.

Simply thr best is my true favorite. There is something in the lyrics, the music and of course her voice that makes it so very personal. I have other favs. but that is my very favorite. Got to see her. What a show. Of the females I have seen she is the best

I thought Proud Mary would be #1. This could easily have been a Top 20 given the number of honorable mentions. Speaking of, Goldeneye and We Don't Need Another Hero should have made that list since they were mentioned.
reply

On Silent Wings is my favorite Tina song. It's a sad yet beautiful song of two people who were once in love but over time that love slipped away On Silent Wings.
reply

What an amazing woman! Period! I really loved so many of her songs. What You Get Is What You SeeAbsolutely Iconic! RIP Ms. Turner. Thanks for the video.
reply

I think Whats Love Got to do with it is her best song but I truly believe her second greatest song is River Deep Mountain High, I Love that song!
reply

I can agree with some of these but I dont see how Better Be Good to Me, Private Dancer, and We Dont Need Another Hero could be left off this list
reply

All her songs from days with Ike till today are legendary. But my favorites would be Proud Mary, Whats love got to do with it and Steamy Windows
reply

I Don't Wanna Lose You and her collab with Eros Ramazzotti should have been honerable mentions at least, instead of unknown songs
reply

Mine is Nutbush City Limits. I was introduced to it by the cover done by Bob Seger on his Live Bullet album. Terrific energy.
reply

Wow, I'm surprised there's not even an Honorable Mention for Better Be Good To Me. Fantastic song. I'll always love Tina!
reply

The best of her songs is You got what you wanted. To sing those lyrics in her situation like she does is incredable
reply

Can you imagine Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin rocking The Heavens so hard that God is jamming on his throne!
reply

Tina Turner (RIP) was a Cover Queen! , does anyone know why she named her comeback album Private Dancer?
reply

Cose Della Vita with Eros Ramazzotti is a masterpiece. I cannot believe how many people are sleeping on it.
reply

The list could easily be longer. Somehow I cannot get myself to rank her songs. They are all dear to me.
reply

I Don't Wanna Fight and Better Be Good To Me not being even honorable mentions is borderline criminal.
reply

I was at her concert in Parisienne Olimpia in 1977. She was then with Ike. What a show, what a memory
reply

The fact you didnt mention how Nutbush became a cultural dance in Australia is greatly disappointing
