For me, the best dads in movies are: Hector (I love how he loved his daughter even beyond death, and how he wanted after many years to cross the bridge to see her 27: 56 my favorite moment, Mufasa (the best oh yeah, Marlin (for love to his son he was able to be brave to cross the ocean and save him, the Tiana's dad (that inspired her to strive for her dreams) and the Riley's dad (12: 56 What more realistic situation jajajaja) Also thanks for including to Timon as a surrogate father, his jokes are the funniest, and the funny thing is that when I was a child I didn't understand some jokes well, when I was older I did 42: 28, 42: 47 and I laught, you could show his funny fatherhood scenes in TLK 1 1/2. and yeah, the Miguel's dad also a little underrated, I even appreciate that when grandma Elena was about to break Miguel's guitar, he tried to make her reason

Silver from Treasure Planet is a good Father Figure, especially when he realizes Jim is more important to him than the Treasure is.

Haven't watched yet, but Alan Matthews better be on here somewhere. He's the most underrated dad in TV. He worked hard, showed the struggles of not having time to always do what he wants with his family, was both a father and a friend. Plus he showed how you treat your kids friends like your own. If you don't tear up a little when he threatens the cult leaders life for Shawn, are you even human?

Marlin is undoubtedly the best Pixar dad. He had such a rough start and went to such lengths to save his only son. He learns a valuable lesson about loosening the reigns, and the reunion between him and Nemo is just perfect.
