Ever noticed How Sikhism and Starwars Jedi and Mandalorians are so Similar? Wepons are a Part of Our Culture just like Mandalorian, they were Helmet we where Turbans, they have a Uniform we Have a Uniform, and just like Jedis believe in the Force, which exists every where In everyone we believe in God/Akaal Purakh with same Panenthestic Beliefs Kind off right? Also there Logos like the Rebel Alliance or the Jedi Temple Guard looks very very Similar to the Sikhi Symbol of Faith (Khanda)

I love Cool from West Side Story, but it feels wrong to place that at the very top of the list. I feel it should be a little lower down. The Dance at the Gym sequence from the same movie should at least have an honorable mention. But overall, I say you did the genre justice.

I've read that Elliot Feld (Baby John, the blond kid) was really sick and running a very high temperature when they were filming the Cool number and ended up in the hospital after they finished shooting. He went on to become a noted choreographer himself.

I think the Dancing in the Dark scene from Bandwagon should have at least been an honorable mention. The dancing showing two people working through differences to find their mutual attraction is simple and yet breathtaking.

Where are the Busby Berkeley numbers? By placing the camera inside the action in 42nd Street, the man created the way we still shoot musicals and music videos presently. Maybe, he deserves his own countdown.

Seeing The Barn Dance from Seven Brides for Seven Brothers on this list makes me sooooo happy! Sad not to see any of the dances from White Christmas on here though! Vera Ellen is sooo good!

Gene Kelly was my best friends uncle when I was a kid. He would come to her house because his mom lived with them. I was there once when he dropped in. My favorite movie was Anchors Away.
reply

How can you talk so much about Gene Kelly and Singin' in the Rain without mentioning Make 'Em Laugh? For me, that's by far the best dance number in the film, probably any film.
reply

Yeah, Bob Fosse (as well as his favourite dancer Ben Vereen) belonged to Broadway, and to Broadway only. Their group kinda shunned the crass commercialism of Hollywood.
reply

Of course, I rarely have agreed with your. picks. I think America from West Side story should have been number one. And you left out the movie Hellzapoppin 1941
reply

Vera Ellen's Mandy number from White Christmas totally should have made this list. She was such a phenominal dancer and unfortunatley greatly underappreciated.

I always loved the masterful choreography from the original West Side Story, and how the brawls were structured like dance routines. Hats off to Jerome Robbins!
reply

I love when you watch the movies with ensemble casts and see the same faces who are incredible performers but never got the recognition they deserve.
reply

Tony Martin said to me - he always knew when Cyd had been dancing with Fred or Gene. When dancing with Gene - bruises on her body - not so with Fred.
reply

You know what else should really get credit? Danny Kaye and Vera-Ellen dancing to The Best Things Happen When You're Dancing from White Christmas
reply

I really think Jumpin Jive should have been #1! They dance on every single surface on that set and nail every single part of it!
reply

Gene Kelly singing and dancing in the rain, and the whole end dancing sequence from An American In Paris are incredible
reply

Very very great epic list I like it a lot very very great job mis mojo one of my absolute favorite list ever
reply

Nobody dances like that anymore. They perform lewd gestures and call it dance. Ugh! Gotta love Gene Kelly!
reply

If youre mentioning the Dream Ballet, you should also mention OKLAHOMA. That came out before CAROUSEL
reply

Shouldn't they have already posted a video for only murders in the building season 3. What the hold up?
