were counting down our picks for musicians who you may have only become acquainted with later in their career or who got their big break later in life. Our countdown includes Stevie Wonder, Tom Jones, Etta James, and more! Which celeb do YOU think has made the biggest impact in their later years?

I dont agree with list with exception of Susan Boyle and Charles Bradley. Everyone born in the 50s, 60s and 70s grew up listening to these artists on the radio. I was a huge fan of Sonny and Cher show in the 70s and I owned a Cher Barbie doll when I was a little girl. Now if you were only addressing the Millennial and Gen Z population then list is accurate.

Cher does NOT belong on this list, she was 19 when her 1st album was released and was only 25 when the Sonny and Cher Show debuted
Dolly and Stevie Wonder also both started in the industry when they were children. Just because a lot of people didn't know about Dolly until they saw Hannah Montana, doesn't mean that's true with everyone

Congratulations and rest in power Tina Turner! You win this list! Here are some more singers you never seen young.
Willie Nelson
Al Jarreau
Kenny Rogers
Michael Bolton
Luther Vandross
Perry Como
Cyndi Lauper
Neil Diamond
Glen Campbell
Angie Stone

The makers of this list must be really young. Most of these performers had careers when they were in their 20s and 30s, and there is plenty of footage around to price it. Just because you weren't there to see it didn't mean they've always been old.
reply

Just because young people don't know the early days of this artist doesn't mean they weren't famous. Cher started back in the 60' so she was young. What do you understand by old and young?

10. Susan Boyle
9. Charles Bradley
8. Louis Armstrong
7. Etta James
6. Cher
5. Tom Jones
4. Leonard Cohen
3. Dolly Parton
2. Stevie Wonder
1. Tina Turner

Susan Boyle is a terrible singer, the only reason she got that reaction is cause of how she looks! I'm a professional singer and I literally can't listen to her sing!
reply

Cat Stevens would have been another good one to add to this list. The way he looked in the late 1960s was vastly different to the way he looks now.

Im confused about this list. I mean Ive seen all of these except maybe 3 when they were younger. Especially Stevie Wonder, Cher and Tom Jones.
reply

The title of this list doesn't make sense. That, or you all really need to add some people older than 30 to your list creation team.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE R&B. MISS MARVIN, THE TEMPS, TEDDY PENDERGAST. That was music you could listen to over and over. RIP Gentlemen

I would have to disagree with Dolly 's signature song. Not 9 to 5 but either Coat of Many Colors or Jolene
