Reasons why she wasnt any worse than Brooke:
1. She clearly liked Lucas but was in an awkward position because she was going out with his brother and didnt want to hurt anyones feelings.
2. Brooke knew she liked him and he liked her and went out of her way to get Peyton back with Nathan so she was out of the way.
3. Peyton told her she kissed Lucas at the party and she messed things up, for Brooke to then start going out with him about an episode or more later and then completely pretended like she didnt know Peyton liked him in the first place.
4. Yes Peyton messed up by kissing Lucas behind her friends back but she felt bad about it and wanted to tell her, they also werent going out that long AND I reiterate, Brooke knew they liked each other and went there anyway.
5. When Lucas came back to town she again went out of her way to make Peyton feel guilt tripped into not being honest about her feelings for Lucas by constantly reminding her of her mistake and trying to push other guys onto Peyton (posting pics of her naked online! And setting up a dating site for her.
6. Peyton did not go after Lucas twice! She kissed him when she thought she was DYING! I dont know about anyone else but if my best friend had backed off a guy she liked first not once but twice because I liked him and then wanted to kiss him in what she thought could be her last moments, I would want her to do that. I wouldnt get angry later, slap her, and make fun of her mums passing away!
To sum up, I love both Brooke and Peyton, I see traits of myself in both of them but I dont understand how people cant see how manipulative Brooke was over her friendship with Peyton when it came to what she wanted. She definitely grew as a character but Brooke was extremely selfish in the first few seasons and then played the victim when the inevitable blew up in her face.\r\n

Stefan and Lexi (tvd) - We didnt see a lot of them, but everything we did see was amazing. Lexi was the only person (besides care) who was always there for Stefan.
Lucas and Haley (oth) - Brother sister relationship. Lucas literally went into cardiac arrest when he saw Haley hurt.
Pogues (obx) - None of them were close w their families so they were each others family.
Stiles and Scott (teen wolf) - Would do anything and everything for each other. Chaotic, amazing, adorable. Best friendship.
Bellamy and Clarke (the 100) - Partners in crime. Amazing. If only Clarke hadnt killed him. Shipped them crazy
Allison and Lydia (teen wolf) - Unproblematic friendship. No boyfriend stealing (rare for teen dramas, no fighting. Loved them.
Brooke and Peyton (oth) - Only liked their friendship as adults. They were there for each other and always had each others backs.

every oc fan should dislike this video. Ryan saved seths life multiple times and seth return the favor in the biggest way in the earthquake episode. They little put doen friendships on here that werent even friendships. Pacey and Dawson are you kidding. after season 3 they were never the same and when they did kinda start getting back pacey lost all dawsons money. they needed 5 years of seperation to get back to speaking terms. And there saying that friendships is better than seth and Ryan or even Marssa and Summer was better. one of those 2 frienships had to be up there. And I like Dawsons creek more than the Oc but this is rediculous.

They might have fought a lot but the fact that they loved each other and stayed best friends till the very end shows they can conquer whatever comes in their path and thats the true meaning of their friendship. It shows how strong and amazing they are together. They might have done a lot of wrong things to each other, but forgiveness is one of the most important things and in that show they really needed each other to be best friends more than enemies. Gilmore girl is not a teen drama show and even though I love Brittany, Quinn and Santana in Glee, Brooke and Peyton in One tree hill and Blair and Serena in Gossip girl their friendship is a 100% not the best. Seth and Ryan have a way better friendship than those three, or if you wanted to choose their series than Rachel and Kurt/Blaine and Sam, Brooke and Haley/Lucas and Haley and Nate and Chuck would be a better choice

I'm glad brooke and peyton made it here brooke and peyton grew up together and weren't separated by things like popularity most friendships from childhood end as soon as things like popularity comes in but sticked together until the end and don't forget how they met peyton had just lost her and brooke wld always go to her place to cheer her up that's wat I call friendship goals

On Degrassi, Emma & Manny's friendship was actually rather toxic. Sometimes they were there for each other, but a lot of times they were completely against each other. Some better friendships were Spinner & Jimmy (aside of the whole shooting incident, where they were estranged for a year, Marco & Ellie, Claire & Alli. just off the top of my head.

They were ALWAYS there for each other, life and death situations and everything in between, had only one huge fight and then helped each other in spite of it and mended their friendship! Unholy trinity from Glee was a natural bond between three popular girls but since Brittany and Santana became a couple and then Quinn and Santana graduated from high school, there was no actual friendship. If you want to mention Glee, Rachel and Kurt would be much better option I think.
