The only thing i was really scared of as a kid was the Headless Horseman, putting my faith in the blanket bunched up at my neck as i slept (partly because there was a Scooby Doo Headless Horseman set in the South, which was where i lived.
But that scene in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? where Christopher Lloyd's eyes bulge out and his voice shrieks legitimately terrified me. I haven't watched the film since it was in theatres. I suspect I'd like it now though.

I can only imagine how much Judge Doom's climactic reveal in Who Framed Roger Rabbit scarred younger viewers. Also, Tim Curry was one of the people considered to be cast as Judge Doom, but was considered too scary. Yeah, as if Christopher Lloyd didn't make Doom scary enough. But don't get me wrong, Christopher Lloyd was perfect for the role.

To this day Disney's take on The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is still one of my all time favorite versions of the classic story! I binge The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad whenever I need a good laugh or scare!

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Fantasia 1940
Alice in Wonderland 1951
Those movies are the most memorable Disney movies
Ichabod Crane movie still scares me a tad bit

I love Alice in wonderland because it feels like a tv show merged into a movie because of how every scene is a different setting to the previous scene (just saying it s my opinion)

The 1933 mostly acted version of Alice in Wonderland has always been a family favorite to me! Besides, the Red Queen in the Disney version looks like Fred Flintstone in drag! Haha!

Return to Oz. that movie horrifies me even now.
Though whenever someone asks me what's inside a pumpkin, I say chicken guts. and ONLY people who have seen that movie get that.

I adored both Alice in Wonderland and Fantasia as a kid and think they both hold up today. They were two of my favorites. I actually liked them more than Disney Princess films.

The Winnie the Pooh movies do feel like a dream for me as a child, in a fantastic forest beautiful to imagine in which there is only joy, friendship, innocence and exploring

What about Disney's 101 Dalmatians Spots London Adventure, Atlantis Milo's Return, Honey we Shrunk Ourselves, and also Disney's Sky High families Original Movie's!

Alice in Wonderland is like an off-the-wall dream that you don't want to wake up from, because you just want to see what wacky schananegians are going to happen next.
reply

You forgot the Elephants on parade sequence from Dumbo, and as for Sleepy Hollow, i've watched it as a a teenager and the first time, it gave chiils allright!

I don t know if Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Fantasia would be considered fever dreams since they re amongst the most recognizable and celebrated Disney films

Three Cabelleros! Some parts are sooo surreal, even though I've seen it a million times, ever time I watch it, at times I'm still like, What?
reply

My fever dream is Fantasia. Saw it in a theater when I was in college in the 70 s. Of course we were high.
And I do love Return To Oz.

I ve only seen Ichabod & Mr Toad, Alice in Wonderland and the Black Cauldron. And I find them on the far from top tier side of Disney!
