Top 10 Darkest Disney Channel Moments

we re counting down our picks for the bleakest and most serious scenes from our favorite Disney Channel shows. Our countdown includes Sister, Sister, Austin & Ally, Lizzie McGuire, and more! Which Disney moment did YOU find the darkest What I love most about Girl meets Rileytown is that we're never shown who is bullying Riley, and it's an amazing aspect of the episode because we never know specifically who is causing Riley harm, all we see is the terrible effects it has on Riley and her loved ones and Riley's growth and learning to love herself. A truly beautiful episode on something so horrible, but extremely real.

I loved Beauties and Bullies from Austin and Ally. I love that Trish is so badass and devil may care but she s vulnerable in that episode, which I admire.
What bothers me is that people say that she can be mean sometimes and deserved it. While I agree that Trish can be mean, she has plenty of redeeming characteristics and it doesn t justify her being bullied at all.

I think one problem I've had with when these DComs try to handle serious subjects is that it's always a one episode thing.
Like Lizzie's best friend has an eating disorder for an episode, but she's over it by the time the credits roll.
Issues like this take months, if not years of work, to get under control, and you never get over it completely.

recently on raven's home. booker get his license and gets to drive his grandfather classic car. he gets pulled over. the cop doesnt believe him. almost gets arrested before victor shows up.
so for several episodes booker does every to NOT drive. he takes the bus, Scoot (their version of uber, train, bike, whatever just to avoid driving.

Don't forget on wizards of Waverley place on the episode wizards vs were wolfs mason turn to a wolf and Juliet turn old Alex and Justin was heart broken they both lost people they really care about on that episode and I'm sure everyone was crying while watching the episode to

That Austin and Ally episode was a great example. I remember it was this girl Margot who started those mean comments about Trish because Trish got the lead in the play. Some would say about it Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. And we re talking about teenage girls

The 1930s racism is a lot dark because of people being judged by the color of their skin and it still happens today and the one dark moment missed is Booker being racially profiled by the cop in Raven's home and it just angered me a lot

The downside of the body issues ep of zack and cody was maddie's and london's actions to control their body was kinda played for laughs. With a laugh track. Even full house saw the dangers of a crash diet

In regards to the Austin and Ally episode. let's be honest, no one listens. There are people who KNOW and are aware that what they're saying can hurt, but they still say it for some sense of self-satisfaction.

Ironically, the people who are against racism are the ones causing it. Also, sitcoms should address the aftermath of doing the right thing because it doesn't end like the show, there's going to be retaliation.

When I read the video title, I was for sure we were going to see things like zombies invading Gravity Falls, Marcy Wu gets stabbed and possessed, & Luz and Hunter exploring Belos' memories

These kids need thicker skins. If you're as over weight as that little girl it's not healthy. And Riley was annoying. And if you're on a TV show and you're annoying, it will be talked about. Grow up

I m surprised to see an entry from Boy Meets World on here because earlier lists stated that television series that didn t originate on Disney didn t qualify. I guess the rules have changed?

The episode of Smart Guy with the creeper on the Internet reminded me of the Bicycle Man episode of Diff'rent Strokes. Luckily, unlike Arnold and Dudley, TJ refused to leave Karen behind.
reply

I'm no smart guy but I feel like the Karen employing people to follow black shoppers should be on here. Racial profiling is a recurring problem today

There is the scene in the Even Stevens Movie when it looks like Ren has killed Louis followed Tim Meadows Miles' emotional breakdown that he caused it.

From what i seen, dark moments like these are rarely showed on Disney nowadays, and i dont think that this is good. We need them sometimes.

I like the episode of Austin and Ally and how it shows what bullying is like and it relatable. The cast did a good job bring it to life and

7: 15 Why is it bad that he has it? If he took it to school, I get it, but to shoot watermelons is nothing unless something else was going on
reply

I liked that we never actually saw Riley's bully, who was a metaphor for the viewers who criticised Riley's character for being annoying.
