Belwether was not hard to gues, if people knew about the moral called a wolf in sheep's clothing.
To be honest Wreck it Ralph 1 was the few modern disney movies that suprised me.
Meet the Robinsons had few things that suprised me, like because we didn't get from the start how far in the future Wilbur took Lewis, so it was was suprise people he met was his close future families, and that the 'villan was his old room mate, and Lewis future self created the real main villain of the movie.
Waternoose was a good Suprise Twist Villain from Monsters Inc.
Frozen's suprise twist was almost good, if they didn't had ruined it with the scene when Han's fell into the water after he met Anna for the first time.

You probably didn't notice one very important detail about Bellwhether being the real villain. The very important detail being that Bellwether had Doug's phone number written down on a sticky note in her office, And then later on in the film Duke mentions Doug's name to Judy and Nick.
So if you think about it, It's not really much of a plot twist when the viewer sees that sticky note and hear that name. Because you know it's easy for the viewer to put two and two together and figure out that Bellwether is the real mastermind.

The most unexpected plot twists for me the first time were: in Coco, Frozen, Tangled (I was shocked when Eugene cut Rapunzel's hair giving her freedom and at the same time how she revived him, Toy Story 3 (I really thought Woody would go to college with Andy, Brother Bear, Zootopia and seriously in Pinocchio the terrifying scene of the children turning into donkeys, I never saw it coming, I would have prevented it. of being traumatized

9: 44 I still cringe when I see that large hypocrite to the right of Zangief in the circle reciting the mantra with them. I'm pretty sure helping Mario instead of Smithy, Cackletta and Dimentio doesn't fit with that mantra. Never being good includes never being temporarily good nor putting selfish desires above evildoing and everything else this group stands for. He should've been kicked out before the movie even started!

This plot twist in The Book Of Life shocked me the most. After Manolo thinks Maria died after being bitten by a snake, it's revealed she was actually in a coma since she got bitten once. While Manolo was the one who actually died after he was bitten by the very same snake twice! Although I was relieved Maria didn't die, I was angry at Xibalba for cheating on his wager with La Muerte.

Not adding the lego movie’s twist as they’re all in the imagination of a child relationship with his dad tht one still makes me shocked to this day. I mean, with all the real world stuff such as the nail polish remover, crazy glue, instructions, and other things you can see it coming once you’ve seen it but it’s still genius.

I’ve analyzed this for numerous times. Sure, Hans being portrayed as the villain was somewhat predictable. However, if we reminisce about the outtake in the beginning, we can witness the Duke of Weselton implying that he will exploit Arrendelle’s riches, concealing the fact that Hans is the true antagonist.

I felt bad for those boys who got turned into donkeys, especially the ones who could still talk. And the fact nothing was really done about it. Pinocchio and Jiminy just escaped from the island and that was it. The Coachman and his minions just got away with what they were doing without being caught.

IMO, Vanessa being Ursula isn't too surprising given before her appearance Ursula used a magic spell to take matters into her own hands.
Although predictable, Callaghan in Big Hero 6 turning out to be Yokai after people thought he was dead I think deserves a spot instead.

The Hans one confused me more than anything because if they were going to make him the villain why leave in the scene where he quite clearly is alone looking smitten with her. Like they should have chopped that scene if they were going to turn him into the villain.

Vanessa being Ursula isn't shocking. Ursula used the shell that is around Vanessa's neck to capture Ariel's voice and then it shows her transforming. I guessed most of these plot twists the first time I watched except for Bellwether being the baaaaad guy.

Of course Hans being the villain in Frozen the whole time HAD to make the top spot on this list for obvious and biased reasons. But that still remains as the WORST and most OVERRATED plot twist in all of Disney animation.
