The episode of _The X-Files_ that references _The Wizard of Oz_ is titled Triangle. This is the third episode of the sixth season. In this episode, Fox Mulder finds himself on a mysterious ship lost in the Bermuda Triangle and experiences a series of events reminiscent of _The Wizard of Oz. _ Notably, characters in the episode parallel those from the classic film, and Mulder even wakes up in a hospital bed and says, There's no place like home, echoing Dorothy's famous line. Fox Mulder parallels Dorothy Gale as he navigates the surreal and dream-like events aboard the mysterious ship. Dana Scully appears as a character akin to both the Cowardly Lion and Glinda the Good Witch, as she courageously helps Mulder and serves as a guiding figure. Walter Skinner plays a role similar to the Tin Man, helping Mulder in his quest. The Cigarette Smoking Man takes on a role reminiscent of the Wicked Witch of the West, representing a malevolent force Mulder must contend with.

In Digimon season 1 episode 52 Piedmon’s last Jest the villain Piedmon who is based on Tim Curry’s Pennywise realising his outnumbered, summons his army of Vilemon (flying monkeys) and says it’s more fun than a barrel of flying monkeys.
Also 2 episodes prior they fight his personal bodyguard LadyDevimon who they call her a witch and Kari’s digimon Angewomon fight her which soon becomes a cat fight with slapping each other as they’re the good/evil version of each other. Eventually Angewomon turns the tide and uses her Heavens Charm attack to destroy her and she screams Im melting.
Also on final of WandaVision Wanda sneakily throws a car into Agatha Harkness and she realised she left her boots sticking out under the debris like the Wicked Witch of the East

Fun fact: Yzma's voice actress, Eartha Kitt, actually was in _The Wizard of Oz. _ In the 1997-1998 production of _Oz_ in Madison Square Garden, Eartha Kitt appeared in the show as the Wicked Witch of the West.
She was the second actress to play the role, following Roseanne Barr's performance the year before. But, Kitt had the privelege of starring opposite Mickey Rooney, who was the Wizard himself, and also got to show off her singing chops when the second run of the show with Eartha brought back the deleted Jitterbug number, which was a scene that was supposed to be in the film, but was cut from the final project due to time constraints.
Then when the show went on tour, Jo Anne Worley would eventually take over as the Wicked Witch.

There’s an episode of Yu-Gi-Oh GX where they end up in another dimension and the character named Jaden Yuki says I have a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore’
There’s also an episode of the animated Mighty Ducks where they are sent to the past, there’s a character named Nosedive who says it too and when the person in the past says to say a thing to send them back after everything, Nosedive says Let me guess, There’s no place like home’’ and when the person is surprised he says, I’ve seen the movie’ XP But there are tons of references of Wizard of Oz’ in that episode. Just can’t remember the name.

They definitely Back to the Future on the list based on similarities and differences both films share in common.
Like one example, both protagonists in each film go into a different world where they interact with characters with familiar faces they recognize in their respective worlds. In Back to the Future, it’s people from Marty’s life and world portrayed as younger versions of themselves (like George, Lorraine, and Biff. While in the other film, the people in Dorothy’s real world take form of other characters she encounters in OZ.

Nightmare On Elm Street
I remember reading a newspaper article back in the 90s that listed the wicked witch of the west as one of the most scariest villains in film. Beating out Freddy Krueger and Jason Vorhees.
So in one of the nightmare on elm Street movies. Freddy Krueger pays homage to the wicked witch by attacking this boy in a reference to the up inside the cyclone scene. Freddy shows up on a broom stick and says Ill get you my Pretty and your little soul too!

Stargate SG-1 deserves some love. The writers loved to sneak in references there. Like when looking for the Tok'ra and O'Neill laments, where's that yellow brick road when you need it Or Daniel trying to BS his way out of a bad spot by proclaiming himself to be Oz the Great and Powerful in an alien language.

I remember watching the Scrubs episode that parodied The Wizard of Oz, and only really understanding that it was referencing the plot near the ad break, when the references became more blatant. Also, the Janitor calls JD Dorothy, and he's listening to Toto's Africa at the beginning.

At the end of the classic It May Look Like a Walnut episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show, Laura wakes Rob from a nightmare, and he says, Oh, Auntie Em! Auntie Em! That deserves mention, as does the Triangle episode of The X-Files, which flashes back to 1939.

my favorite wasn't in the countdown, but was mentioned before the countdown began, the scene from Scooby-doo and the Witch's Ghost. I never realized how many references there have been to the wizard of oz in tv shows and movies over the years.

LOL funny list! There's a similar drop a house jab in Beetlejuice during the dinner party scene when Otho says about one of the guests Don't mind her, she's still upset because somebody dropped a house on her sister. Hilarious.

What about the scene in stepbrothers when the kids beat up Will Ferrel and John C Riley.
John C Riley: Remember the one scene in the Wizard of Oz when the flying monkeys pull apart the scarecrow That’s what it was like

There's a Wizard Of Oz reference in the 1996 movie Twister. The storm chasers in the movie called their new tornado data system Dorothy and had a picture of Dorothy from the Wizard Of Oz on the machine

My favorite is in the last episode of WandaVision. When Wanda throws the car at Agatha, she goes to inspect the damage and finds a pair of witch shoes under the wreckage.

And then there is the phenomenon known as Swifties, fittingly nicknamed the Flying Monkeys for their habit of harassing the ex-lovers she has written hate songs about!
