The Good Times episode still gets to me. I was a very young child when the episode aired. I didn't really understand what death was. My mom then sat down to explain to me what it meant. I was so confused because I couldn't separate the actor from the role, and I thought he had really died. I cried for I don't know how long. And even though I never watched Modern Family, it struck such a nerve with me as my father passed away about 3 weeks ago.
But on good times too, the episode where they find out that Penny has been abused was also tough for me to process. Again, my mom had to explain what was happening. I loved the show, and I thought Penny was so sweet. To find out what had been happening to her let me know that there was bad in the world.

Mateo's arrest punched me in the gut so hard. Thank you for including one of Superstore's most powerful episodes. But Ben's Death on Scrubs is one of the all time great episodes in television history in my opinion. The misdirect it created was so brilliantly executed - it never fails to leave me awestruck even to this day

What about Mac's coming out episode in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia For his dad to totally disregard the absolutely beautiful performance that Mac prepared to announce he's gay, and Frank (of all people) to act like a proud father for him. just chills. Did not expect that from the funniest show on TV.

It must have been incredibly hard for Courteney Cox to act out Monica and Chandler's fertility issues, when she was dealing with the same thing in real life. At least she was able to welcome a daughter, Coco, in 2004, and was expecting her when filming the final season.

A recent one for me was season 3 of the bear. Sugar is having a baby, she is forced to call her mom for help. 90% of the episode is just the two of them in the room discussing their relationship and what it is like to be a mother as sugar is in labor.
