I saw Laci walking in the park with her dog all the time. My friend and I walked in the park every day but Sunday. The neighbor that thought she saw Laci might’ve seen the other woman in the neighborhood. Who looked like Laci. She was pregnant and walked in the park with the same breed of dog. It was easy to get them mixed up. I believe the neighbor was mixed up. So the robbers took a lie detector test when the police asked. They passed the lie detector test, they had no idea what happened to Laci. They were just looking to steal stuff to get money. They really did not look smart enough to plan a kidnapping. As for the park, there were some people that slept there overnight because they were homeless. The Modesto Police have bicycle cops in the park, we saw them all the time when we were there. Plus, there were always joggers bicycle riders and regular walkers. No matter what the time the park is always busy. No way she was taken from the park. I believe Scott put the leash on and let the dog go to make it look like Laci had been up a long time. Otherwise, why wouldn’t the dog bark if a stranger came to kidnap her.

Even if the robbery story was credible, no dog is going to sit quietly while their owner is getting attacked or their home is getting broken into. Scott probably dropped the leash & the dog wandered home when it got tired or scared at being left alone. We’ll never know because security cameras aren’t what they are now back then. But I refuse to believe a stranger murdered Laci & Conner.

The death penalty was outlawed by Newsom for all inmates in California. As far as I remember, nothing was specifically about Scott’s personal case. At the time, Newsom’s reversal was based on financial reasons which made complete sense to me. One of the very few things he’s ever done right.
reply

The Innocence Project (I think that's the name) is trying to get him a new trial as they say there was someone else they think might have done the murder. It doesn't make sense with the mountain of evidence against him, not to mention his suspicious talk and behavior at the time.
reply

It would take some serious evidence to convince me that he had nothing to do with the murders of Laci and Conner. I can’t believe it’s already been 20 years since I became captivated by Laci’s beautiful smile. Rot in hell, Scott. Rest in peace Laci and Conner.

We must always honour the memory of Laci Peterson and her son, Conner, while showing deep respect for the many women who tragically lost their lives during pregnancy, acknowledging the profound loss their loved ones endured and the sanctity of the lives they carried.

Laci was a beautiful young woman who woman who was robbed of the future deserved. Let's not forget her in the midst of the horrifying details and sensationslism of the trial. Rest in peace Staci & Conner.

I remember the wall-to-wall coverage of this story like it was yesterday! It’s mind-boggling to believe that this happened 22 years ago! He’s guilty. He needs to stay in prison for the rest of his life!
reply

There is a guy in Illinois that also killed his wife. His name is Drew Peterson. He is much older and is serving his life sentence. It's hard to keep them straight when I listened to stories about each one.
reply

Rest in Peace, Laci and Conner Peterson. According to Gillian Flynn, her novel Gone Girl may share some parallels with the Peterson case, she made a conscious effort not to rely on the true crime for her story.
reply

Scott never ever seemed worried or even cared about Laci. Why would you use the word missing Why wouldn’t he just say I can’t find her is she there Because he knew he killed her and she was dead.
reply

Even though the death penalty has been tossed into the garbage, I hope Scott Peterson never sees the light of day evwr again. Thanks to him, Christmas will be a day of mourning for Laci's family.
reply

I still remember this case, as if it happened yesterday, no matter what I am convinced that man is guilty because you do not have a stone cold stair when the judge hand you a death sentence
reply

Who learns that the bodies of you baby & wife washed ashore and orders a double double from In & Out! He is guilty. We all process grief differently, but that is disturbing!
reply

Her Mom is such a pillar of strength! I think he did it. Others didn’t even know he had a boat, and it was too cold to golf but went out in the San Francisco Bay So shady!
reply

I was only 10 when this happened. The case was everywhere and It is one of the handful of cases that stayed with me forever. I can't believe this was 22 years ago.
reply

My cousins and I watch it and it was sad what happened to them I also realise if they both survived Conner and I would have had the same age.
reply

It doesn't take a genius to know Scott killed her. He was trying to escape to Mexico. He didn't want to be a husband and father.
reply

This case shocked me so much it’s crazy. I think you should also do one of Judith Barsi
Her story broke my heart.
