Now do the top 10 times Big Bang Theory ripped off Friends. There was one season where BBT kept ripping off Friends. There was one episode where Amy gave Penny that ugly painting. There was an ep of Friends before that where Phoebe gave Monica and Rachel an ugly piece of art she made. To be fair, though, I think King of Queens did it before that. Also, there was one where Chandler didn't want Joey to know he was home yet, so he hid in their apartment so he could be alone with Monica. Joey thought Monica was cheating on Chandler. BBT did one where Leonard came home secretly, hid out in Penny's place and Sheldon thought Penny was cheating on Leonard. It was exactly the same. That whole season they kept ripping off Friends. I think the writers were desperate.

Barney and Robin are like Monica and Chandler, Joey and Rachel, Ross and Rachael why first Robin and Barney start sleeping together and hide their relationship to their friends like Chandler and Monica Second Barney is In love to his Best friend ex girlfriend like Joey third they are toxic couple but adorable, sweet and their chemistry like Ross and Rachel this is why Robin and Barney for me are the best couple in all the sitcoms I am glad they married in the last episode Season 9 episode 22

Im such a HIMYM brat. I love friends and its entirety but the cast of HIMYM is a different type of chemistry.
The episodes are fun and creative and perfect for the time it came out of not before its time

The humor, the lessons, the character development is just well done. One might have the better ending BUT the other is my comfort

Like they all know what are they doing.
Perfect job/passionate, marshal n lily love story, barney playboy but smart n with proper job, giving advice to each other, n they continued their behaviour in all episodes not just like in 1 episodes like friends. n their are many more that himym is more good thn friends.

One of my favourite shows but they ripped off the king of Queens so many times, one episode comes to mind when Doug has to kill Carrie cause thats the only way he can cheat on her in a dream. Just like Marshall dreaming lilly dies from coughing for the same reasons.

I hated when friends made Rachel and Joey hook up! I skipped their kissing scenes it absolutely was such a bad idea! As for Burney and Robin. they should just end up together forever! Ted's wife was more suited for him! Loved her and wish she was never killed off!

I love Friends and still laugh watching reruns today. I watched HIMYM because everyone talked about it but I hate it: its a cheap rippoff, I cant find it funny, I hate all of the characters just searched the last episode to see the ending and gave up watching

I still say Rachel should have ended up with Joey and Robin should have stayed with Barney. Ross should have reconnected with Julie and Ted should have stayed with Victoria. That way everyone is happy with healthy respectful relationships.

Okay but like every sitcom does these kinds of things. Its not ripping off its called tropes. Its the things that make sitcoms, sitcoms. Its why we watch so many of them cuz they all of a sense of familiarity and comfort.

I think these are mostly just similarities necessary for a long running comedy sitcom done to revolve around this lifestyle. You can even find this during other lesser-known shows.
