Pinterest is forcing you to download the app because its working. There have been multiple interviews explaining why they keep doing this. Its because its been very successful at getting them downloads. If we want them to stop, we seriously need to boycott that piece of shit app. Not only do they try to force you to download their app, its a terribly made application to begin with!

I hate pinterest and even more now in 2020, because it's everywhere and it's so user unfriendly if you don't have the mobile app (I imagine, because I don't have it. It floods my images search results and its website is pretty useless on a desktop computer.

I love Pinterest. I got engaged a few months after I joined, so I did use it to plan my wedding. :D But it does have its problems. I got temporarily banned from pinning recently, because I pinned too many things in one day.
