Unforgettable huh? Do you know that country music is now only 10% of sales in the music industry? Sales have declined dramatically over the past 10 years. First of all, there are not any good artists left alive in this old industry. We are moving into a much more modern era and people don't feel too cool listening to music that sounds like it is from the 1800's, not to mention the totally fake silly accents and the fact that if one of these cardboard cowboys caught a cow, he would not know what to do with it, they have never seen a cow! Fake country. Country music is devil music anyways. I played a country music record backwards and the man singing came back alive, got his house back, got his truck back, his wife came back and said it was alright for him to cheat with his girlfriend: ) CLASSIC Johnny Cash however does sound pretty cool (1950's early 1960's)

They didn't do a very good job explaining Alan Jackson's homage to George. George was invited to sing the song, but found out that he was going to have to do it with an orchestra and only about 30 seconds of it, so he stayed home. Alan, who thought the world of George, decided he was going to say the hell with the music execs and do what he wanted if they wouldn't do it. So, in the middle, literally in the middle of his song Pop A Top, he stopped and went right in to George's song Choices. When it was done, he didn't accept any applause. He held his guitar, turned around and walked off set. George said in his book that him and his wife Nancy, were watching from home and both started crying. He said it was one of the biggest acts of kindness anyone had ever shown to him. Alan Jackson is a class act.

You didn't go back far enough. My favorite was when Ricky Skaggs got the horizon award. Also, let's not forget when Bob Wills got inducted into the Hall Of Fame. Lastly, when Barbara Mandrell sang I Was Country and went out in the audience and harmonized with George Jones!

Luke Bryan and Taylor Swift should never be included on the same list as Allen Jackson and Johnny Cash. They definitely should not placed above Allen throwing shade on the cmas for their treatment of a true great.
