Some other trivia:
1- Paige O' Hara was really crying while voicing Belle during The Beast's death scene and ''I love you. '' Then the recording guys noticed the realism on her crying, so stopped recording and asked her: ''Are you OK? '' and she answered: ''I AM ACTING! ''
2- Originally, during The Beast and Gaston's fight, he yelled: ''It's over, Beast! TIME TO DIE! '', but it was cut because it didn't fit the character and they wanted Belle to come back to the movie square. So it was replaced with: ''BELLE IS MINE! ''
3-Gaston had another deleted death. Gaston lays multiple stabbings on the Beast and commits suicide by falling to his death laughing maniacally, as he feels that no one else would have Belle if he can't have her for himself, but not before he lashes out at Belle for ruining his pride and preferring the Beast over him. However, this was edited out since it was too dark.
4- There were originally some darker scenes that were deleted from the movie, like Gaston going to the asylum to negociate with Monsieur D'Arque, and Beast carrying a dead animal, possibly to eat it. However, in the final version of the film, there are still some animal bones lying in the West Wing floor.
5- And finally the funniest one. Some Disney worker wanted The Beast to stay like that, so he planned that after he turns back into Prince Adam, Belle would say: Can you make your beard grow? But it was deleted because it just didn't fit, much to that guy's unpleasure. However in the 2017 live action version, Belle actually says that!

This is from the website disney. wikia. com:
It is stated in products licensed by Disney (such as the 1998 video game The D Show which was developed by Cyberflix) that Adam is the Prince's name. However, it is actually not his name, as it has been stated in the directors' commentary included in the Beauty and the Beast DVD/Blu-ray as well as the Disney. com FAQ that the character has never had an actual name; he is only referred to as The Beast or the Prince. It was mentioned the writers and producers were so busy that they forgot to give him a name. In an interview with Glen Keane, Keane admitted that the Beast never had an alternative name prior to the film's events.

Beasts name is not Adam he was never given a human name Adam is just a name fans came up with but Disney has said in even recent interviews that they refer to him as the Prince or Beast I feel like his name is beast and even when he turned back into a human I still call him beast because it suits him (this is just my opinion)

for number 3, the reason for Angela's reluctance was that she was sent the wrong demo track when the producers were courting her for it. They sent her the pop demo (the one that would play over the end credits) and it took an overnight shipment of the correct version to show what they really wanted her to sing.

ok if adam is his name why isnt in the movie? & if that isnt his name? then what is his real name? what do we call him? i feel uncomfortable knowing he's only called beast or the prince i cant imagine belle talking to him like hey, prince do you want me to read Romeo & Juliet again? that doesn't sound right.

The beast's name is not Adam! That is a fan theorie! The directors and Disney. com FAQ have said that the beast is just called the beast or the prince. Glen Keane, the animator of the beast, has also said that the beast was always just called the beast thus HE IS NOT CALLED ADAM.

Here's another honorable mention, Beauty and the Beast enforces Stockholm Syndrome, along with a dedicated fanbase that denies it so much; way more than Tom Brady has denied he's cheated in football games.

When recording the scene where the beast dies and belle says the three fatal words, it was so emotional Paige was really crying, not acting. That doesn't happen very often.

You forgot the fact that when Belle and the Beast are dancing in the end of the movie, they used recycled animation from Sleeping Beauty.

You forgot that Rupert Everett was turned down for the part of Gaston for not being arrogant enough.

Angela Lansbury from Murder, She Wrote is the best Mrs. Potts, she's an amazing singer for that song.
