Owls aren't catbirds. They are terrible pets, apparently 99% of people who bought them as pets because of Harry Potter returned them because they tear up everything; they are loud + nocturnal, cough up pellets made of sineu + bones (yes, their diet is generally whole rodents, and make a mess with the bloody rodents as they tear them up.
15 second clips don't reveal the rest of the terrible day. If anyone says their owl is great, chances are they're lying for social media purposes.

2: 58 I love watching owls interact with people and animals they are so funny! But I have noticed that people are patting them with their fingers. I recently went to a owl and eagle park where I got to have owls sit on my lap. We I was told that you should pat owls with the back of your hand because the oils in on our palms and fingers can affect the feathers. I can t remember the exact reason but I did find it interesting. Thanks so much for sharing this video it made my day!

It turns out there's a scientific equation that governs the cuteness factor of our furry friends. The larger the eyes relative to the head, the higher the cuteness level! With their eyes taking up a significant real estate on their cute little faces, owls skyrocket to the top of the cuteness scale. It's like nature's way of saying, Hey, let's make something so irresistibly cute that it'll make your heart explode!

Really don't like this video. Owls are nocturnal birds, it is disturbing to see them subjected to unnatural experiences in bright light. Traumatic for them.

Owls are undeniably cute. But keeping them as pets is pure torture to me. Wild animals generally do not belong in captivity. That's why I hate zoos too.
