Ever dream of having two suns? Throwing Earth deep into the cosmos? Orbiting the planet with dozens of basketballs? We did just that in Steam Early Access space physics simulator Universe Sandbox-, and take it from us: All of the above fantasies turn out really, really bad

Yeah, Capitalism is where it's at selfishness and greed that sounds like that is going to be beneficial to everyone especially our children and their children. Yeah, that makes all kind of sense. Duh! I have this on my wish list. This game looks interesting Eco.

You can tell these guys have no real idea how this -game- really works and how much control you actually have over anything. This was just 20 mins of shooting things at the earth. Which is pretty much the most basic thing you can do in this game,

I don; t know why, but messing with the solar system - even in a game - just gives me the heebie-jeebies. Just seeing the planets start to cascade into the black hole in the absence of a Sun made me simultaneously wince and cringe with visceral disgust.

Kind of thought the audio glitches were because the bois, playing God, were briefly flickering in and out of mortal existence, desperately fighting a battle against ascension without even consciously realizing it.
Someone make this a book.

Imagine evolving over the course of 4. 3 billion years. .. Only to have Griffin and Justin cackling from the blackness of space as the two summon a black hole and throw it at our sun.
Yeah. That's how it ends.

reply

Does the game actually simulator the passage of time properly? Will the sun go through it's lifecycle if you advance time fast enough? Can you simulate the death of the entire universe by just advancing time?
reply

The wild thing about this video is that by the end, I find myself agreeing with Griffin that we should be able to take a hit by a little Pluto without it ending life as we know it

What-s cool is the part at 7: 00 with the two galaxies will actually happen with our very own Milky Way. It-s gonna be a pretty chill light show when it happens
reply

If there is in fact an infinite amount of universes there must be one in which the world explodes of Justin accidentally blows it up in this video
reply

When this video was uploaded Stephen Hawking's black hole theorem was yet to be observationally confirmed, and I think that's pretty cool.
reply

Alright I need help. How is universe sandbox 2 different from universe sandbox 1? When I look for it on steam, all I see is universe sandbox 1
reply

Is it actually a -Universe- sandbox or a Solar System sandbox? I mean, can you manipulate the entire Milky Way and other nearby galaxies?
reply

''This amazing planet of sports we've formed'' If that isn't a profound metaphor Sagan would be proud of, then I don't know what that is
reply

Those two galaxies are Andromeda and the Milky Way.
And they are indeed on a collision course and will collide in the future.

reply

You can tell who the gamers are at polygon, Justin-s computer is the only one that can-t handle all the processing -
reply

Bro all the people critiquing the video itself. They are just having fun, they don't need to be experts on every game
reply

You just explained the multiverse. Universe is a simulation, and parallel universes are just tabs on the sim.
reply

I like to think if there's a great sky daddy in the clouds that he'd approve of Justin and Griffin's use of power.
reply

I'm planning to buy this game and i just want to know are we able to make our own planets and solar systems?
reply

Can someone put a moratorium on Justin saying -buckwild- in Mbmbam he says it like 5 times an episode
