So in 2022. I tested out the game. Fully patched it. And yes the faces are still messed up on Ac 2. It-s almost game breaking. Even with 60 fps and 1080p. I find my self liking the 720p 30fps Xbox 360 version. I ended up playing ac2 in the ezio collection over the og just so I could get trophies/achievements again. Some sites are defending this game, but trust me it is still messed up. Hopefully this helps someone.
I think with the awareness the GTA trilogy brought, hopefully people will finally start listening and see this game is a disaster. So the faces are weird bc they are using some auto texturing/scaling system. Works on something-s but there is enough problems to ruin your experience. If you can handle it though, might be good to pick up on sale if your a masochist

Their biggest crime is that remaster is locked in 30 FPS for literally no reason. On base consoles - I can't believe a PS3 mid-lifecycle game can't run 60 only because of better textures and better drawing distance. On enhanced consoles (PS4 PRO & XOX) - maybe it's due to 4k but man, some actual 8th gen games eventually achieved 60FPS even at 4K there. Why 7th gen AC can't? And second, why Ubi still haven't released BC-patch for currentgen? Absolute waste. PC with mods is the only way to play old ACs.

Ubisoft should learn well how to remaster games ever game that they remaster becomes worse than it was ever been
They should learn how to remaster such as resident evil 4 and its remastered version
thats how is the right way to remaster not just change the sky and the skin color they just made the brightness higher LOL

I made mad progress on here recently on Xbox one and ended up going back to one of the assassin tombs to find the treasure in it, quit the game thinking it would just save and spawn me back there when I load back in but it just completely wiped my saved progress.

Nahhh that was befor they fixed it yes it had many bugs but when i played it on my switch man its way too good probably one of the best gaming storylines ive ever seen but yet horrible controller-s just a slight move to right and the boom ur drop dead

some part look better, landscape has more contrast, sharpness and texture and color, but people look weird in remaster. thankfully they haven't screwed up Ezio's face! original games on PC still look best of all!

Honestly, the climbing glitches around 1: 40 sound like more of a -you- problem to me. I finished Revelations yesterday after 100 hours in the Collection and never once experienced a glitch like that.

I'm replaying the remaster currently. I'm finding that a lot of faces look not great because the new graphics are often brighter and less blurred, which had helped to hide any previous imperfections.

Best way to play this is on console is to play the 360 version on the Xbox Series X, it-s a huge visual difference from playing it on the 360, and to me looks better than ezio collection

They should have remade the entire Ezio series with modern engines and new AC pakour and combat systems. 2, Brotherhood, Revelation are byy far my favorite AC series!

It's not a Remaster, It's a port with Higher Settings for those hasn't played any of the Ezio games, Tho I'll miss the Dreamy Bloom like effect in the Original.

Remastered version looks so terrible. Original looks way better without question. The -remastered- is more like a terrible recoloring.
