Thank goodness for crowdfunding sites, for allowing small, independent game developers to produce innovative games in genres that the larger publishers have written-off as being -unpopular- and -archaic-. The success of crowdfunding campaigns for more niche types of games like 3D platformer/collect-a-thons, strategy games, board and card-based games, narrative-based games, turn-based RPGs, 2D -Metroid--vanias and all manner of horror titles proves that there are a lot of types of video games that are being ignored by the big corporate publishers, leaving a void that is happily being filled by indie developers such as Playtonic.

fellas I need help, so I have a ps4 and switch, and I need to this buy this game, question is, which platform? should I buy it physically on ps4 (because I love physical copies rather than digital) or should I hold off till they release it on switch, I do realize that if I get it on switch, my only option would be a digital copy because they haven't confirmed a physical release for switch, but the convenience of playing anywhere is quite tempting, and I'm not much of a graphics guy so graphics don't really matter to me but all in all, what do you guys think?

I'm ready to see a SGDQ 2017 run for Breath of the Wild and Yooka-Laylee.

Feels like it's gone surprisingly fast from clicking that button to back it on Kickstarter to being this close to playing a complete game.

Looks great & vibrant but the lack of enemies/enemy types is concerning. Plus, they seem way too easy to kill.

The voices just seem really annoying to me. Definitely hope you can lower voice volume in the settings

Collecting and exploring was part of the fun. Dont hate on collecting. It was what made those games great.
