If there's one thing that Tee Lopes is absolutely godly at when it comes to details people tend to overlook is capturing the impending feeling of act 2's music. Act 2 music always had a tendency to bring a different air about it compared to act 1 because of the incoming boss fight at the end. The less abrasive and more serious tone of Green Hill act 2's music is what really makes it so great for me. It's the fact that he didn't have to change the style entirely, following Sonic 3 as the example to make it feel that different because you know the big boss is coming at the end.

the idea that both games are coming out this year is still mind blowing to me. It totally feels like -okay let's put two totally different games out, and see which ones sells more. - kind of thing, where the one that sells more they just steer into that direction.

Is anyone else slightly peeved about the fact that Hyper Sonic and the Super Emeralds are not going to be included in the game? I mean, Mania DOES look really awesome and all, but making Hyper Sonic canon would have been great, too D:

I'm pretty sure Christian Whitehead with Sega isn't a one time thing so I'm hoping we could get. Maybe a Sonic Advance 4. Seriously, I hope they don't reuse this style again. I miss the Advance sprites.

Great to see other players doing what everyone else does. exploring the whole level and not just doing speed runs. And getting kinda pummeled by the boss but still making it by a thread. Love it.
