This game looks fun and I thank SonicTeam for creating what looks to be another solid Sonic game for us but I wish they would consider making a game similar to that of the Sonic Adventure series. I'm talking tight, responsive controls, free-flowing movement, no boosts that drown out the music, chaos, and the ability to play as some of the old cast. I feel they could make this, name it anything they like, and the fans would be very pleased.

Looks fun, but I am still anxiously awaiting for the day they will release the kind of games Ive used to play in the 80's and 90's (mechanics, level design, graphic style) but in 4k and everything drawn by hand. I find it mind blowing that its not happening yet. Imagine all the classics remade this way, consistent artstyle but not pixel art, and other dev games like Castlevania and Samurai Shodown also. At least I can dream.

I've noticed some flaws that Sega might fix [That is if they can see this comment].
1: 34 there appears to be some kind of lighting going on to those buildings when Sonic finds Shadow, don't know if it's a lighting glitch but if it is then there you go.
3: 53 If you pause at the right moment, you'll see another Classic Sonic right next to the real one after he defeats the Egg Dragoon.

I will never create a avatar/orginal character. This one feature in my opinion is killing that game. Sonic should be the fastest one here but nooo. now will be OC which will be such fast or even faster cuz why fcking not?

Yo these dialogue cut ins are pretty neat. I haven't been following much on sonic forces, so i was surprised to see characters like the chaotix and silver.

honestly this is looking pretty good so far if you have the option to turn off hints and drop the voices after completing a level that would be perfect

I am kinda disappointed that they took out ring boosting from Sonic Unleashed and Generation and brought back wisp boosting from Colors. Just me though

I hope the boost won't refill by picking up rings in the final game. That could bring actually some kind of -strategy- of when to actually use it.
