I feel like your thesis should have been how RE7 is a good and classic-ish RE game, because that's all you explained in this 2 minute video. It doesn't at all touch on how it is ABOUT the series.
For RE7 to be about the RE series, it would have to mention the series as such either directly or allegorically. For example if you told me that it set a theme of fall from grace to redemption, then I can see that as being an allegory to how the games went from being classics to being disappointing and to now, with RE7, being being good again. You only told me how it mirrors and does what the classic games did, and again that only tells me that it is a good and classic-ish RE game--which is not nearly as cool a thesis as what you have in your title.

This is such a good video to show people who are on the fence about RE7 without spoiling too much. It's always a shame when RE6 turns people off of RE7. This game both doesn't deserve the baggage of an RE title, and deserves to be the new era of RE.

Such a pretty camera and glass! Im loving the step into more professional video production as well as the silly stuff. Praying polygon doesn't have to take a Cracked move and cut video at some point.
