I've actually thought about this for a bit, and I think not doing anything is the best move when it comes to cutting off your finger in Trivia Murder Party.
Think about the pros and cons.
The one con is that you die, but how bad is that really? You were most likely going to die anyway (especially with a missing finger, and even if you did survive, it doesn't necessarily put you at much of an advantage in endgame as ghosts have a massive advantage to catch up.
Now think about the pros, and there's really one major one: Money. Choosing to not cut a finger and becoming a ghost instead, you have a couple advantages when it comes to earning money for endgame.
One, you don't have a missing finger, so you have a higher chance of getting questions right.
Two, the Death row stuff does give ghosts a chance to win money. Sure, you don't earn the $33 for your finger, but that number is insignificant when it comes to the other possibilities.
I also believe entering endgame as a ghost is actually the better option, as with that extra money, you'll have a farther advantage, and the extra option for each question makes it very easy to catch up to the survivor.
In conclusion, when playing Trivia Murder Party, if you are on death row and are told to cut off a finger, the better option is to not cut a finger, as I believe I've sufficiently proven how death in this case is the better option. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

I never understood this part of the game. You have no reason not to take the money.
-If you take it and at least one person didn't, you live
-If at least one person takes it and you don't, you die.
-If everyone takes it and you don't, you die.
-If everyone takes it and you take it too, you still die.
So why wouldn't you take it? Is there something I'm missing?

The fact that nobody got that cosine/secant question right kinda saddens me a bit. Though to be fair, the question is a little misleading. It really should have been arccosine, but since they didn't put that as option you can see what they were going for.

Ryan, I feel your spelling bee pain. I was the lone third grader against two fifth graders and my word was -corridor-, but the judge said -corriodor- so that-s the word I spelled.

Worth asking here, but does anyone know what the backing music is while everyone is introducing themselves? I assume it's a royalty free track, but I can't find it anywhere

4: 42 where tf is arccos
none of those are the inverse of cosine. 1/cosine is secant of course, but 1/f(x) is -not- the same as the inverse of f(x)

4: 56 But NONE of the answers to the trigonometry question are correct! Secant is the RECIPROCAL of cosine! The INVERSE of cosine is arccosine!

Secant is 1 over cosine. Cosine is adjacent over opposite. Sine is opposite over adjacent. Therefore, sine is equal to secant.

I love Simone's laugh. It's so weird and awkward and amazing, and makes me feel better about my evil-mastermind-hyena laugh.
