So it's Fallout online. Also, in the terms of timeline, I've got to ask. How did none of these creatures make it to the likes of Washington DC/Fallout 3? You'd think that, via Darwinism, these creatures would reign supreme and be able to adapt, considering West Virginia's landscape varies so much. Idk. I just don't know what happened after New Vegas.

This isn't Fallout 5. This is a new take on the Fallout universe, which is exactly what Fallout 3 was which worked out pretty well in my opinion. Give it a chance. Everyone's negative opinion on this ruining the franchise because of the always online feature is as retarded as Elder Scrolls Online ruined the franchise.

I guarantee they will have public servers and private servers for people who want to play with other people and others who only want to play with friends or them selves, so there's no need to get all mad, I'm a fallout nerd and I will say I'm excited for something new because the same old gets boring and stale

I'm finding the -Always online- aspect a little dubious. I know they said you can play on your own, but what if you're not connected to the internet? Will the game refuse you access? Or do you HAVE to play on a private online server until you can access the full thing?

Hey as long as playing alone is as great as it's always been then I'm ok with having a friend or 2 be able to join like it'd be cool to play through it and then be able to have a buddy come help you explore the rest of the wasteland you haven't seen

Just gonna throw this out there, but I don't want other people in my Bethesda game. And yeah. I've experienced plenty of other peoples fallout game. It's called Streaming.
Oh. He describes it as softcore survival. Yeah. Hard pass on this.

Hey, Polygon try to confirm for us what Todd meant by -you can play solo- because what it sounds like is -you can (try to) not interact with other players but you definitely still have to play with other people-.
