Aren't you guys at polygon tired of being the butt of every gamers joke. no gamer trusts you and the bias you show on your reviews and articles is going to make you gone in the next 5 years. get woke go broke, you're irrelivent and can't even play videogames. nothing but buzzfeed fake journalists masquerading as gamers. were done with your virtue signaling get ready to go out of business

Assassin's Creed Origins has a good photo mode and some beautiful landscapes, so I'm surprised it wasn't in here.
Also it does something that every game with a photo mode should do: It shows you photos other people have taken. It does this by having photo icons show up on the map that you can hover over, but there are other ways games could do this.

This video made me indescribably happy. I-ve always loved animation and this fall I will be going to college to finally pursue that. This video makes me so hopeful that maybe someday I-ll be able to give back to everyone with a beautiful, colorful world that will be able to move them in the way some of these stories have moved me.

Because games like Control and death stranding took many months to release their photomodes, now I will just wait games that dont release with them. Unless it is the new god of war, spider-man or bioshock, I can wait months. Same for time exclusives for consoles and the epic store.

A replay feature should also be present in multiplayer games. The ability to play a super fun match, then go into the replay and take cinematic photos afterwards is on a whole 'nother level of satisfying. War Thunder has it and my god do I have fun with it!

What I learned from this is that there are some really popular photo-op spots in a lot of games (since I took a lot of the exact same screenshots in Horizon and God of War. They should set up tourist traps around there.

What a joke polygon has become I just read your Jessica piers article one sided trash manipulating the narrative to make her look good when she was the one that started all not one was being toxic just her

HZD was my first experience with Photo Mode, and I'm convinced that it was God's gift to mankind. I never even -thought- of the possibility to make cinematic-style moving shots like these!

thanks to sony for introducing photo mode to games, it brings such life to games and artwork, ps: too bad the witcher 3 is the only great game that doesn't include the photo mode: (

Alternative title: -Photo modes are great and every game should have one! -
Also, glad to see No Man's Sky getting some love, I've spent hours in it's photo mode: )

polygon is garbage guys. read the last article they made about the arenanet debacle.
they only presented one side of the story with fairness to spin a narrative.

This video absolutely owns bones and whoever was involved in its making has an excellent eye for videogame photography. Good soundtrack choice too!

My favourite is the Mad Max shot at 2: 48 because you walked all the way up there just to get an epic shot while still holding the dog.

this sort of reminds me of staring at video game screenshots, in magazines or online, back in the day, except more in motion.

I was a little disappointed by the lack of giant cone pictures from Yakuza 6. Otherwise, these were some really lovely shots
