This ending was emotional for me not cuz I played nomad but because I played streetkid.
The city was all my V ever knew, even when he left, he just had to come back, met Jackie, and lost him. He never seemed to have a real family before or r after Jackie, sure he knew Padre, but they were business partners and at best friends, l. But here, with the Aldecaldos and Panam, he finally finds a real family that-ll stick with him till the end.
And then he leaves the city, all he ever knew, something he never could think he could be away from, forever. Its uncharted territory from here, and he doesn-t even know if he-ll live long enough to make it work, and it-s hard for him. But with Panam and the rest of the Aldecaldos?
I-d like to think my V will be just fine.

My question is, is V really dying? I think it's BS because why when you ask Alt what I should do she says -you should come with me-. Why does she want V to go and Johnny to get the body? V and Johnny are both viable but she wants V over him, because I believe she sees that V is far more useful than Johnny and is trying to trick V to go. There is no way Alt is saying it because she cares about Vs wellbeing, I still think V will have irreversible damage because of when Johnny construct was taking over and going in to the well too, hence the nosebleed. I believe after they leave and V tries get healed he will learn he's not dying but will have to live with side effects for what he went through for the rest of his life.

I gotta say: Cyberpunk has a TON of issues, but this ending right here. Damn, man, it hit me so hard when I first got it. I guess it's because a good chunk of my life has been spent in the backseat of a car, going on roadtrips to see family. I got the same feeling that I get whenever we get home, and it's midnight or two in the morning or something crazy like that. It's probably that and the fact that I'm a total sucker for bittersweet endings. Chills up and down my spine when I beat the game for the first time. Say whatever you want about Cyberpunk, but if a game can do that for me, I have somewhat of a soft spot for it.

Everyone's talking about a DLC, but I would love a New Game Plus mode for this game. Imagine restarting the game/ remodelling your character (if need be, and choosing a different starting lifestyle, with all your current gadgets, cyberware, weapons, clothing etc? That would be great! Especially for I went for a Judy Romance but I wanna experience the Panam romance that I haven't got in the game!
Edit: Overall, I really enjoyed this game! Such a shame these -haters- only worried about the bugs and not the story itself.

I love this game. I really do. I-ve played through 6 times now. But the little missed opportunities really add up. I-m not even talking about bugs.
For example, Panam says she-ll miss the Thai on Seventh in Heywood, but there is no 7th St in Heywood (or anywhere else that I can see. It-s just a throwaway line at the end of the game, but how cool would it have been to actually find the actual restaurant on a subsequent play through? That kind of world building is what makes a good game great.

Johnny getting v's body, leaving night city and trying to be a normal person. After trying to take down most powerful entity ever existed, and being an anarchist in past. That ending right there. For me is the most emotional ending I will probably ever see in any peice of entertainment media. For me atleast. Something about him boarding onto that bus and just leaving night city behind for good is something else. Cant describe how i felt the first time i got that ending

A lot of people say the Sun ending is the best ending, I highly disagree. V gets all the money in the world, and becomes a legend, but V is basically souless by that point, and only cares about one thing. Ditches every body, and will die rich and alone. The Star ending, V isn-t rich, but has a new family, and is filled with hope. The Star ending is the best imo

10: 58 omfg i dont even know if this was edited in but the song from edgerunners - i really want to stay at your house- is just perfect timing here and it never fails to give you the feels
also ik the song is originally from the game but at this point everyone knows it as the really depressing and ptsd inducing song from edgerunners lmao

Anybody else wonder if the final mission in this ending being All Along the Watchtower is a nod to Battlestar Galactica's final episode? I literally just finished the game late last night and can't recall the name of the final mission it gave me, but I think it was an easter egg/nod to another well-known sci fi storyline.

Save yourself about an hour. In either Temperance or The Sun playthrough make a save after defeating Adam Smasher and before Jacking into Mikoshi make a manual save and after completing the story load that Belly Of The Beast manual save and make the appropriate choices. and complete the story.

I choose this ending way more than the rest. If you want a good story ending for V, you've better do it right. Forget doing a gig for Mr. Blue Eyes, have Johnny take over body forever and working with Arasaka, just have V go with Panam with smiles on their faces and watch the stars.

I-ve watched this 100 times already and still feel empty after beating this game. Same feeling from rdr2. Hope none of y-all got the Panam endings where she is sad or mad at you, the actress sells it hard. Hope for a DLC at the Arizona camp. Game gets way too much hate.

I don't get it. I just had this ending and after the credits, it brought me to the main menu. But when I clicked -continue- it brought me back to the solar panel area and just let me see the ending again. How can I go back to the normal game and How do I get my items back?

Everyone says there-s no happy endings in Cyberpunk. But this is clearly a happy ending. I wouldn-t even call it bitter sweet. It-s literally a happy ending. Too bad we just don-t get one with Reed or Kerry. This was definitely biased towards female love interests.

This game is so good it made me experience genuine emotions when playing only game I-ve ever teared up while playing because of how emotional times got I hate seeing people bash it just because some glitches like it takes away from how amazing the story and acting is

At first i didnt like johnnys dialogue when it came to choosing to call panam. But i realized is that, probably for the first time in the game, johnny is putting his trust in you rather than thinking for himself. It comes full circle in regards of Johnny's character.
reply

I liked this ending, a lot, but I feel like if it had a bit more interactions with Johnny, it could have been the best (at least to me) since I really enjoyed our whole adventure in Night City. That last talk we had in the - Don't fear the reaper- ending, oh man.

Why is it blood doesn't show up for some people. Iv never actually seen my nose bleed blood thought everyone had the peoblem but the other day i saw a video where someones actually showed. Is it a graphics card thing or only work on consoles?
reply

Theres something about finishing a videogame that is so personal and i expect i will find nostalgic in future. But this game really nailed that with this ending. I think Cyberpunk 2077 might be the most subtle misunderstood mastereice

All bugs, and other issues aside I loved this game I got the Star Ending yesterday. V and Panam great couple I'm going for another playthrough as female V and romance Judy. Still don't think the other endings can top this one.
reply

Unfortunately, playing as a woman, Panam always rebuffed my romantic attempts. Meanwhile, ex-cop dude with the cyborg eye was constantly trying to get with me. I wonder if this ending is even possible without making V a man.

Hey all, jw im playing the game over again. I wanna make sure I get the good ending (Star Ending. So if I make all of the choices in this video will I get the good ending, regardless of any other choices in the game?

Do i need to do all side quests before i talk to hanako for this ending? Im in a romance with panam, but still have left the quest to talt to roge in afterlife as johnny and not collected all tarrot cards for misty?

After Phantom Liberty confirmed that fixing Relic is possible (although FIA isn't much help) we can be that much sure that Storm Tech will be able to help, especially with Misty's prediction

part of me wants a DLC that shows panam and V on the other side. but knowing the devs, they would find a way for panam to get killed and leave us alone again, def dont want that.
reply

And here i was sure i just choose the wrong dialogues because -the star- trophy didn't pop after completing Panam's storyline. Glad im getting reunited with Panam eventually.
reply

It's glad to see that I am not the only one who has a feeling something to Panam. To a girl who doesn't even exist. I feel bad about it because I have a wife and a daughter.
reply

V doesn-t die. Doesn-t matter about no chip. Johnny won-t let v die. V is still living thr good life. My head cannon at least. Won-t let anyone tell me different
reply

I could really imagine a DLC with V and Panam in Arizona, looking for a cure. I mean, for Witcher 3, they also created a whole new area, Toussaint, for the DLC.
