I still need some advice. In order to upgrade the Wolf Gear armor, you need the original armor (the jacket or chest piece. What has me confused is, I got the Wolf Gear treasure hunt quest (level 14) but could not return to Kaer Mohren. I was at level 21 and couldn't figure out why I can't get back to KM. After all, the Wolf Gear treasure hunt quest was at level 14 and here I am at level 21, what did I miss? So I reluctantly restarted the game. Now I have to do the research which will probably include spoilers and take away some elements of surprise. Did I miss something or do I have to wait until level 25 or higher to get the level 14 original Wolf Gear armor? I have all DLC's

Help, I've downloaded this. I have come to a point in the mission where I can't access the box where you get the note in the signal tower to continue the mission further, I then tried to use this video to go looking for it myself but when it came the first piece of armour I couldn't loot the corpse so again it was a blank quest, is this a glitch because I've tried redownloading the dlc but the same error happened so I can't get any of the gear with a useless quest

I think a fix for the bug for anyone experiencing it is to start a new game, or new game + (which is how it worked for me). i think it's something to do with loading it into a new game. not an ideal fix of course but made me happy i can now run round as the white wolf in full school of the wolf gear! hope it works for you too: D

Guys calm down, yes this problem still exists on the console versions of the game, yes it still exists, on the PC it does not, but on the other hand it does not prevent you from creating wolf grandmaster armor and swords, because grandmaster equipment does not require for its creation armor of its previous stage.

I'm having trouble with the dlc I started the quest bought the maps but I can't interact the places where the diagrams are for example the watch tower where you are supposed to use your wit her senses on that gate won't glow or show up so I can't interact with it

m8s, is there a possibility to get the wolf gear after finishing the main stoy of the game? i didnt find the diagrams and f. e. at the ruin tower in kaer morhen there are no crystals etc etc. is this a bug or is this what CD Project Red wanted to?

I don't know how, but somehow I was able to get to kaer morhen before the main story line. I really wanna learn how to again, I believe it was through horseback and marking locations on the map. Does anyone remeber the method? Help pls.

I've lost so much interest in this game because of the fact I'll never be able to have this armour. A petty glitch ruins everything but CD Projeckt Red will have no trouble putting an in game apology letter. Okay then.

Just finished the game and started working on the quest. The blacksmith in Lugos castle is dead so i cant buy the maps, and the chest in the watchtower wont open. Anyway to fix any of the issues? No fixes online

What the hell. Ive been to two of these locations with the dlc downloaded and i cant find the diagrams. At the signal tower it wont let me interact with the chest and at the bastion there wasnt a body.

havent played this game in a while and I forget how this works. Do you have to find lower level versions of the armor to get to the higher versions? Or can you go straight to the mastercrafted version?

did the mastercrafted one thinking that since i didnt want the other ersions that I could just skip them. too bad you need every set to craft the master mastercrafted one -_- still very helpful tho

I found a solution to fix the bug. You have to start a new game. After first walk through it was bugged for me too, I could not open the chest so I started a new game and it fixed the problem.

Which dlc do I need for this? I have Blood and wine as well as hearts of stone but those aren't it.

this quest is bugged I'm trying activate the portal, won't work, chest won't open, I have both dlcs. so that didn't fix it, honestly they better do a hell of a lot more bug fixing in 4

im on Ps4 just got the gear on my first playthrough patch 1. 31. didnt do anything speacial, had all witcher gear diagrams except the kaher morhen ones.

I have the dlc installed and there is nothing for me to pick at the first location you-re at. But a wraith appeared tho. So that was interesting I guess.

Quest was just bugged for me, I went for an annoyed shit and when I came back the update had done and the quest worked. That was lucky
