Simone declared 2 bread, and got caught with 3 apples, anything in the bag that wasn't declared is illegal. Simone should have lost the apples and had to pay a fine, not Sherriff Ashley paying Simone (approx 24: 25-24: 55, not sure how the rules apply to changing your story about what's in the bag. -Five crossbows, I mean 5 chickens. -. -what? -. -5 apples-. What was really in there? 5 apples(not that it affected who won with the most money)

The best strategy is to make a deal with someone who-s sheriff before you, make a deal saying if they let your contraband thru, you-ll do the same. Then when you-re sheriff open their bag anyway because in the rules it specifically says all verbal agreements are not binding if they cross turns

This game really works for Jeff because normally in these bluffing games, when he's not bluffing, everyone assuming he's bluffing becomes a really big problem. Here, when people are tricked into thinking hes bluffing literally only he profits because hoo boy he just got even more money.

The bags in this game are one of the most fun elements in any game but the end is 30 minutes or so of adding up scores after all the actions have been taken to see who won the game half an hour ago. A digital version would remove both the best and worst element of the game.

on the early version of the game (-Robin Hood-, Brazilian exclusive, the sheriff can only choose one bag and the rest go through. but also there are limited -wagons- so only one player can take 4 things, only one can take 3 things, and so on.

The Sherrif's job is really determined in the first round. If people set the precedent of bribing the Sheriff in that round, then it's a lot easier. But if, like in this game, no one bribes the Sheriff, it becomes a lot harder.

24: 25. Simone lied about the NUMBER of what's in the bag. She said 2 and assuming the screen is right she put in 3. That is against RAW. She should be double punished for that, instead of getting money and those goods through.
