Final Fantasy XV - All Royal Arms Locations (Faithful Heir Trophy / Achievement Guide)

There are 13 Royal Arms Locations in Final Fantasy XV. Finding all 13 unlocks the Faithful Heir trophy / achievement. Each Royal Arm has unique attack patterns and stat boosts. They can be used in combat by Noctis. They are more powerful than normal weapons but using them depletes your own health. Even if you don't want to use these weapons you should equip them for the stat boosts they provide. Furthermore, the Royal Arms bypass all enemy resistances and always deal full damage (no enemies are resistant to them. The first 7 Royal Arms are automatic / unmissable story unlocks. You get them automatically during main quests. The remaining 6 Royal Arms are from dungeons and Royal Tombs which you must find on your own. None of them are missable! There is free roam after finishing the story and you can go back everywhere. The dungeons are fairly difficult, one of them being for level 55+. If you want you can do them before leaving for chapter 9 but it will be very difficult. I highly recommend you finish the story first to get stronger. Remember you can switch to easy difficulty in the game options at any time (in easy mode you cannot die

I can-t believe that I-m flying through the dungeons since I was exp grinding and got to level 120 for the first camping and I just finishing up the last Royal arms and then I have them all on ps4 I defeated the final boss at a very low level with only the story Royal Arms instead of the others since I just rushed to get the lowest time on beating the game since I speed running all the way through

I feel like even if I explored the whole map (which I did most out of curiosity) I still wouldn-t have found the Tomb of the clever one and I-ve been playing it (2nd time for over 100H)-
But in my first walkthrough I only went by the story (I believe I even finished the game around level 30-35 and I avoided most fights so lowest exp possible I guess)

This guide wasn't detailed too detailed. You know, before this guide i found that only night dungeon alone but i didn't know you had to continually walk across the intial detailed tiles in the ground for them to move because no initial icon was given. However i wouldn't have found the rest of the dungeons without your help, thanks

How on earth was the only royal arm I was missing the shield of the just!
I found all the others on my own, but the one that's not inside a dungeon or even hidden at all was the one I didn't find! The tomb is plainly seen on the map, even! Thanks ff15, now I'm feeling dumb and robbed of what I hoped was a dungeon I missed.

I remember the first time I completed the dungeon in the mines. I hadn't even completed the quest that opened the rest of the map. I was just stood on a ledge spamming ranged attacks at the samurai demon thing until it died. I couldn't be more prouder of myself.

i currently got back into this game and this video was truly helpful. i didnt know there was so many tombs you can explore. i already beat the game but im doing another walkthrough of it and im going to spend my time looking for royal arms and avoiding chp 9 lol

I challenged myself and took on ravus at level 35 it was definitely raping my mental state but when you beat him at that low of a level, man you feel great, i stocked up on 20 phoenix ups, 10 mega phoenix, 20 megalixirs, and 20 hi elixirs

I replay this game every year since release about the holiday time and it still stumps me how these all weren-t main quest based. The first time I played the game through was story missions only and you end up with like only 5.

It-s so cute when you select the Trident, Noctis summons it, holds it vertically, looks up and down at it, and you can see the pain in his eyes. It-s these kind of details that make the game amazing.

I beat the costlemark tower dungeon at lvl 44. Took a lot of potions and Phoenix downs but it-s manageable when you know how to use your royal arms, elemancy, and when to use your summon

What's the location of the tomb for The Sword of Tall? I know you have to go see the tomb first in order to actually get it at the dungeon and fighting the beast for it. anyone?
reply

When I first started this game, it took me a few tries on the Sword in the water fall quest because those Mind flayers at the time were hard to beat for me

Ow man i used royal arm till i was like lv30 and i didnt knew they took away from hp. such a annoying exprience i had (i know he tells us but never listened)
reply

Whoever was the one who originally had the Shield of the Just is the real MVP. He/she doesn't make you go through a damm dungeon to get his/her weapon lol
reply

So, I just managed to get the Bow of the Clever at lvl 32. So, I should be good to get the other optional ones except the Sword of the tall right now.
reply

If you get all of them can you go in the mode where you can float around like in the story missions? Cause I saw a guy do that in free roam

the only hard ones to get is sword of the tall and bow of the clever, everything after that is just child's play
reply

reply

7: 25 I finished that dungeon and I KNOW I picked up the royal weapon, but according to my menu I don't have it? -
reply

I had the magitek armor, so I was able to grab the crossbow before I even got to the next part of the map.
reply

I got the Star of the Rogue just by doing Sania's sidequest, The Professor's Protege-Myrlwood Fireflies
reply

Thank you so much for this. I obtained the Sword of the Tall yesterday. But boy, that dungeon was HELL!
