Dog Who Was Scared Of Everything Gets More Playful Every Day Faith = Restored i can not believe the kind of cruelty human beings can do to animals. the goverments all over the world must do something about this and put in place stricter laws that fits the crime. animals and human beings have the same rights as anybody else. we must stop pretending that this is not a serious issue it is. thank god that theres still good people on this earth that cares like you. i hope that when you find them perminent homes that you make very sure that there are good people that will love them they deserve it. please dont stop what you are doing they need you very much. im actualy crying writing this letter love you all thank you

Poor Mark looks like yet another case of abusive owners having chosen a pittie/staffy type dog because of their supposedly meannature, and then abusing them horribly to try and make them that way. It never ceases to blow my mind how patience, gentleness & retraining by amazing people can help such dogs come back from that tragic start & turn into the happiest, most loving pets. Hope he has a bright future ahead of him!

When she moved her arm towards her own face the poor pup flinched, exactly like physical abuse victims do. l love to see what TLC does in transforming the lost pup's entire outlook on life. lt's the best visual affirmation on what can be done when love, food and safe shelter is provided. l wish our society could understand that importance for both animals and people.

Maybe it was just a stray dog. Stray dogs are usually scared of people and they don't let us pet them. I had dozens of stray dogs near my home. I used to leave food for them near the field I live, but they wouldn't let me approach let alone pet them. They know me, but still don't trust me a bit. That's the way they are. Unsociable with humans.

I want one of YOU idiots to get put in a PHUUCKIN CAGE while dogs are barking at you and see if you relax. That is EXACTLY what you did to this damn dog.
More focused on their being pretty that knowing the animal they are trying to help.
Assholes. Pretty Assholes but Assholes just the same.

Am I the only one that fast forwards to the happy part after about 10 seconds of before Hurts to watch a pup who has lost all trust in people. There is a reason and its never good. If you know you cannot treat the dog as least as well as you treat yourself, opt out. Its easy.

Oh poor baby. Reminds me of my dog when we first got him. He wasn't nearly that terrified but he was still very scared. I just sat in the back seat of the car with him and talked to him, didn't try to pet him, let him take his time. I was only 10 but I understood.

i made a huge MISTAKE i adopted a 6 year old Dog, who is ABNORMAL! I HATE HIM! I REGRET i adopted this mental Psycho crazy dog. He is afraid of EVERYTHING, don't listen, don't play with toys, don't want to go out for walk (only at 6am). PEOPLE DO NOT ADOPT AN OLD DOG

I cried when I saw how terrified she was I dread to think what humans have done to her and then when she finaly trusted her dad and put her head on his arm that moment was so heartwarming dogs are such beautiful creatures thanks fir saving this sweetheart

Lay down on your back if you trust he won't attack, best judgement, but it's how they understand /
Display threat level. Never tower over them it's obviously threatening. You communicate at the level they understand you get a lot farther

I think people need to realize just because a dog is scared in a shelter doesn’t mean they all have been abused. That dog just needed to get out of the shelter. Once he was out he was fine. And yes this is what I do for a living.

1: 51 Our hearts go out to the displaced Californians. It's so sweet that in the moment when they have nothing, they still care for an animal. When they have nothing, they still love their dog. What a positive view on life.

Sitting with him and sharing a burger is one of the best bonding things I've ever seen. It's like oh your eating it Well I want some. And then back and forth amazing technique.

I like watching animals being saved videos but they make me sad as I know the animals that don't get saved understand a lot more whats going on to them than we think.

It can be a slow process but with gentle patience and relaxed guidance in a safe and consistent environment they will slowly bloom into a new life! Thanks people!

For eons, humans have searched for the key to healing and finding true blissful happiness. Those two simple keys to all in which we hold most dear is Love and Hamburger.

Amazing transformation, but hell what had that dog suffered. But that was huge courage of the dog to finally lower his defences, and give us humans a second chance.

I can only imagine the cruelty he experienced just look at the doctor in charge of our public health in the USA. A freak of nature that abused and killed dogs.

Need to find the mfer that did this to that dog. He or she needs to go to prison for a long long time. Trump signed that into law.

Austin is great. I love when animals are talked to like they understand. Dude check this out. Idk why it just warms my heart.

Some horrible person hurt that dog repeatedly for him to be that frightened. My heart broke watching him. So very scared. :-(

Bless you for saving this beautiful boy. Always visit your shelters and give the animals there a chance. You won't regret it.

Since most dogs dislike being patted on the head, I wonder why so many of these people continue to do that.

What kind of Horrible SCUMBAG abused Mark to make him that scared! Austin. you're a GOOD person.

Poor dog he was shy and scared but all that changed he's starting to interact with other dogs
reply

Get your dog spayed or neutered. That's one of the first things that you should go and do.
reply

Annoying ass dog, no wonder he was beaten. Wish i could hear him scream and beg for mercy.

Thank you to all involved in this dog’s positive experience. You are our heroes.

A traumatized dog does not NEED to be petted. YOU want to do that and what YOU want.
