Little Old Man Dog Was Shaking Like A Leaf Until. Adoption Day

I rescue a long legged poodle of the street. He had suffered and had the scars to proved it.
It broke me, I had him for 6 years thank God. According to the vet, he was an old man. Probably 10 years old.
They suggested I put him down, but I said NO! I will work with him and nurture him back to health.
He had all sorts of issues. He was emancipated, teeth were broken, rotten and infected. BB gun pellet under his skin, fused lower back from injuries, a possible cut tail, pancreatitis, and severe anemia. Those were the serious issues he had. My friend got us a mattress on the floor, I nurtured him for 21 days on the mattress. He was given liquid iron, it helped him 100%. I put food on a bowl and he looked at it, but did not eat it. He looked confused, so I hand fed him and he ate it all. When we went to the back yard and he pooped for the first time when I first got him. I noticed little pieces of wood like elements.
Then I saw him biting a tree and I figured he probably had to eat bark to ease his hunger. I never felt so angry and so hurt at the same time. Angry because a beast of a human had done this to him. Hurt because ai could not fix his problems all at once and in a minute.
Henry was my beloved poodle for 6 years, he was treated with utmost respect and great love and kindness. He went from absolute criminal neglect to a life completely filled with food, roof over his beautiful self, health care, and love, absolute love and kindness.
The story of Bruno reminded me of my buddy Henry. I gave him glucosamine with chondroitin and MSM. He was pain free and run like a puppy in his 1 year of life. I truly miss my Henry, he deserved it all. Just like little Bruno!

Dogs should have their entire lives be good. I hate when they say Now they have a good life. all the mental trama is still with them. They dont forget. they mask it. And so many people who adopted puppies are dropping them back off at the same pound 1. 5 years later and they compare pics. all happy as pups. healthy looking, full of promise. They come back broken down, shanking, skinny, missing hair with mental issues. Most humans suck.

one day my daughter and I were trying to find a bakery when this little white dog crossed the road in front of us. he had no collar. he appeared lost. I opened the back door of the car -and ushered him in. When we took him to the vet we discovered he was covered in fleas and his hair was matted, we got him bathed, and his mats shaved off. my daughter fell in love with that little dog. we named him Muffin Amis.

I love it that they took the time to find this precious little dog a good home. I cry everytime I see a homeless abused animal. He is so tiny and defenseless. I cannot understand how people treat animals bad. Their only reason for being on earth is to love us. I love my baby before myself. She's only here a short time and deserves all of me.

You have to improve how you treat the dogs. That is no way to treat dogs. Clearly the man let him fall and hit the back. Also, you should not put clothes on dogs unless it's outside and it is cold.

He walks like he has something wrong with his back. Arthritis probably but i how they get it checked out. So glad to see him in a new home!
