How do we know it’s the same fawn with the doe What are the chances he’d of dropped the fawn off on the right side of the lake where mom was (how would he know who or where mom was) I’m 60% sure that fawn he saved died.

Deer can swim I know that but what causes something like this to happen where the deer is unable to swim is it a thing that happens sometimes and then their fine or is the baby deer never going to be able to swim

My worry was leaving a human scent on the fawn which will make the mother not take care of it but the fawn is smart enough to stick around the mother until the mother can smell its natural scent

i think the mama deer came by that night to thank you for saving her baby from the lake because she had been looking for her all day and she could have died if you didn't make it to her on time.

Couldn't that have been ANY deer at the end What if the actual fawn got eaten that night because it had been left on its own Hopefully though. that WAS the fawn.
