It's easy to assume owners like this are bad people who neglect their pets out of indifference. I love that she didn't make assumptions or take other people's advice. Sometimes people are just unknowingly selfish. The owners were on hard times and sold their sheep's. They did not sell their dogs out of misguided love, not hate. It's beautiful that they let them go to a better place. I can only imagine how hard it was for them to come to terms with that decision.

I'm a rescuer too and I steal dogs in situations like this. Leaving animals in horrible conditions for a long time waiting just to rescue them with the abusive owner's permission is sacrificing the animals' wellbeing. Abusive and neglectful owner are breaking the law themselves. Abused animals should be rescued ASAP, not left to suffer for months. Glad these dogs finally got a happy ending though

It's so hard to give up an animal companion when you no longer have time or resources for them. They really are family and you don't want to let them go.
But in the end, it's whats best for them. Let them go to another, better home. Make it so they find a good home too. I'm glad the owners did their part. I know how heart breaking it is to be forced to do this, to give away family.

She never gave up on them no matter how long it took. Not to mention she was able to find them both their forever home, and getting them rid of those horrible chains. Her perseverance paid off. I love this story!

If a person locked an animal without feeding it to be sure that person it's going to hell. If you can provide the food for the animal better to set the animal free so the animal can find food it self.

Imagine sitting a few meters (or feet) from your daughter/mother but not being able to ever touch her. Great job saving them! They will have their golden years.
