With so many people feeling foxes' being mere rodents deserving of nothing more than steel trapping and death, it's nice to see their being humanely trapped, vet treated and released into the wild. Kudos and prayers for Blessings, always. to those Humans of compassion and wisdom regarding eco system during these tough times of heightened risk of species extinction and human callousness toward those vulnerable.

It's amazing what they do to save foxes. and then the British government mostly members of the House of Lords and some MPs think It's a great sport to hunt and let 15 to 20 dog's rip them apart alive. it's barbaric the rich that do this are scum and its about time they put an end to the house of Lords and fox hunting.

Simon's last wish appears to just emphasize Simon's inner self. A selfless, caring soul acting to care for these little guys when they need a helping hand, and wanting his original efforts to continue forward. I wouldn't want to measure my soul against that standard! Thanks.

Being friends with a farmer I don't hold these creatures in such high regard myself as I saw the results when one got into a chicken coop years ago. They don't take one to eat, it killed them all. My mate shot it the next day. Good riddance.

Poor fox should be more cunning next time and not get trapped unless some savage idiots come along on horseback with their bloodhounds and entrap it etc. Hope you can be available to save poor fox then as to stop such savagery

I was jogging late night near the Washington Monument and decided to rest for a min. I dark silhouette was coming towards me and it was a fox. It came over to me and laid down near my feet. I couldn’t believe it.

Piece of advice, once you have the animal looped, put a coat or blanket over their head to calm them down or there's a greater risk of injury either way!
Otherwise good on you for doing this fox a huge favour,

Hopefully he didn't come back to a bunch of starved kits. I have no idea if fox fathers raise their young. Or if it's the wrong time of year. I'm sure the professionals know.
