I find it so sad that everybody will take a kitten but that same heart will not take such a sweet and caring mother cat. It just speaks volumes about us as humans.
I make a special point of giving homes to adult mother cats and elderly cats, because they deserve a loving stable home to live out their days in peace.
If you can take one thing away from this video is to open your own hearts to adult cats just as much as a kitten.

I would NEVER have been able to give up that adorable little calico kitten. I have two cats currently that I have raised for 12 years. Both from the same litter. A boy and a girl. The girl is a calico, and she is the sweetest cat I've ever known! I would not ever be able to resist the possibility of giving her a little sister if I had the chance (because calicos are pretty much always female, as I understand their biology.

We'd been feeding a stray cat for a while, and one day he brought his girlfriend over who was clearly pregnant. We made a spot for her and she had her babies in the lap of luxury, all thanks to Super Dad.
She went on to adopt two more kittens who were about the same age as hers. She loved them immediately and still does.

I removed my like bcz it says ''foster mom'' and not just ''foster'' like it says on one of their newest videos.
It is enough to say foster. Not add all that ''mom, dad, sister, brother'' and all that nonsense they have added before frequently. Otherwise I would have kept the like there. Lol.

and as soon as they're weaned, most mama cats lose all interest in their children, proof that it is mainly hormonal, sorry for ruining it for some, it's stil lbeautiful.
